Hi, I sent my application in recently too and got an email today telling me that there is a problem with the system and if I havent received my form to click a link...however, ..like all the other links they have sent me...it doesnt work.. I have emailed them to tell them but whether that just means I wont get any further now I dont know... Whatever happens anyway..Good Luck x:j

I think you've got a very good chance but they need to assess your competencies before you get to interview stage.

Yes, it opened the form but I am not in the same location as Tinkerbell who was asking about Bristol.

I just tried it and Bristol is one of the locations under Gloucs and W of England link.

I have at last received the locations form but have so far tried to email it twice and it has bounced back to me as undeliverable..has anyone else experienced this...it says in the email I received that the deadline for the locations form is 11am 27th January

I've sent in forms for 5 locations and none of them have bounced. Are you sure you are sending them to the right address? It should go to WORKFORCEMANAGEMENT.TEAM2-SHEFFIELD@DWP.GSI.GOV.UK. If you got the email with the apology and links to all the forms, replying to that is not right and will be bounced.

Does anyone know of any proposed start dates? Anyone heard anything back about an interview? Or informing them that they've not been successful? Might be a while yet I suppose..

As several other have said the form that includes Bristol is Gloucestershire and West of England - the link does work and I know it's the right form because that's one of the regions I have applied for. That region really only covers a small part of the South West, had you wanted to be considered for the whole of the SW you should also have applied for Wessex and for Devon and Cornwall.

Which link are you trying that doesn't work? I'll try it myself and if I can get it to work I'll post it here. I had a problem with one of them when they first sent the links out at the end of last week but they have now fixed that one.
