:TGood luck! Please don't dread the interview - it should be fairly straightforward going by everything I've read (especially on this fantastic forum) and experienced (in my other better pre-DWP-application life). Suggest a printout of the competency framework, the 5 examples (& perhaps a reserve or two) you'll be using written down in detail; if possible have someone do a couple of test-runs with you. I know mock-interviews have really helped me.

Do come back and post your thoughts on the interview, thanks.

Thanks Amby12..relay appreciate the help from ppl in the forum. makes alot of difference. Yeh im going do some mock interviews with the Mrs. We both applied and both got interviews :) i will post back once ive had my interview with as much details as possible. big thanks again amby12

I just don't think I was confident enough. And there was no opportunity to get the interviewers onside or show personality. I must have appeared as an over nervous idiot. On reflection, I think I describd three fairly strongly and two were weak. But they were constantly note taking, so, maybe they got nough.

Vwgirl I've been trying to find where I read "scores will be posted shortly after your interview online" but I can't find it anywhere. Let us know if you get yours.

I'd have been more concerned if they had not been making notes. I'm sure you did OK and can now relax as those of us with interviews still to come panic about them!!

    Hi ppl

Got an interview for northest yesterday. Well chuffed. dreading the interview tho. Not had one for a long time.

What area in the north east?
  • STILL no news from North West (my home region). 71% and 8,8,8,8,8 on competences. West Yorkshire says 1,1,1,1,1 for competencies, Derbyshire says 5,5,5,4,4! All three 'Situation Test Complete'.

    Going very slowly mad...

Nothing for me either. Thinking I may give it til Thursday and ring again. Keep applying for other jobs but this one would suit me so much! I miss interaction with the public :(

I told my best friend this morn, if I don't get an interview despite scoring better than her and after having worked so hard on finessing my competency evidence, oh I dunno....couldn't think of a threat....

Agree, but am saving my rant til the fat lady sings over the North London sift!! :wall::wall::wall::wall:
