Got my competency scores for my Welsh-speaking post in North Wales (5,5,6,7,5). What happens next? No interview offer either way. Am I supposed to have an email or something? I realise that most of you are further down the road with these applications!

I would say every area has different timescales.
I received my invitation to interview yesterday, about a week after my competency scores were posted.
I am sure you will hear soon... I can't imagine you will have a problem with those competency scores. Good luck. :)

still nothing for me either! I will keep you informed should anything happen my end. I have decided not to waste another day intermittently checking the status of my application. I am turning my computer off until later this afternoon and i'm getting out of this house! I hope that when I log on later, both of us (and the rest of the minority who are still playing this hideous waiting game!) have been told our fate....be it good or bad news!
Well done to everybody who has been invited to interview!! and good luck!....keep calm and focused, and most importantly be yourselves....and I'm sure you will all be fine!

Mines going off too. I have wasted enough days keep checking that I am getting nothing else done. I am not going to look again until 6. At least the family will be glad I have found time to do the washing - the grief I have had lol. Good luck everyone:T
  • Has anyone heard back from durham tees valley area? i work for job centre plus already and rumour in office is if you scored a 3 on any of your competencies you wont be invited for interview, you must of been scored at 4 or above in all competencies?

Well I'm home. I don't think I did atall well but we'll see. I was with two other applicants, we went in a room together for our docs to be copied and them we were taken to our seperate interviews. I had three interviewers and they stuck to the competencies. It was exactly how vwgirl kindly explained and lasted around 40 mins. My throat went dry andd I duplicated. Time to sit back and wait now, good luck to everybody else, but rest assured there were no surprises and NO further tests.

Best of luck to you... and thank you for feeding back to us. Would love to hear how you get on... :)

Hi, I have been watching this thread ever since I applied. I'm also waiting on Durham Tees Valley, since I got the competencies a week ago I haven’t heard anything. Although my friend who also applied for the same district and got 5x1's hasn't had a rejection email yet, so who knows!

I'm still waiting for Durham too I haven't even had comp scores back when I rang the helpline last week and asked when we might hear he said "how long is a piece of string!!" :(
I've started applying for other job and I'm now just hoping to hear something from any of the others! I have become obsessed with checking my online status :o

    Hi

I cant remember word for word but they were the exact 5 questions we used for the online sift- I didnt have to alter my answers at all but it did give me the time to elaborate on my answers as the online word count meant the online answers were short.

    Hope this helps x

Was their an additional test at the interview? Your answers have been very helpful so far and if anything, have really took the nerves away from em - thank you :)
