This is impractical to design.

Well Ive just tried to complete the test, but half the information was cut off! So I had to guess answers!! I've taken screen prints to prove that there was a tech issue with the test, do you think they will let me retake it? Obviously it was to late to call the helpline!
That's what I thought at first, the screen layout was split in 2 A6 sections you could call it but I doubt there was info missing off...
There was one question in the test what asked something along the lines of without using the performance targets who would you say is most adept at using autosaver...
Roger, Nita, Adrian or whoever the last person was... If you can remember that far back an ideas on the answer?0 -

I know it's too late now but did you scroll down to see the rest of the information? Poor test design or testing IT capability?Emailing the lists seems to have broken down, I've now applied in 5 different districts and got lists for the first 3 but they haven't appeared for the final 2 (which I did on Saturday). I suspect they have got a bit overwhelemed with applications and are running behind, hopefully the missing lists will appear at some point.
I submitted my application and sat the test on Sunday (got a very good score) but I haven't received the working locations form yet. Does it matter than the closing date for applications has passed. I don't want to have put in all that effort and then miss out because of this form.

No it doesn't matter.0 -
Weird, I applied for two districts and completed tests for both.
I thought, that once you completed the test it then carried over no matter how many other districts you applied for.
The first time I thought too much about the action plan questions and scored poorly, second time I went with my gut feeling and actually did pretty well. Strange.
Just hope ive done enough to warrant my application competencies to at least get a look.
My poor wife didnt even get chance to take the test after the questions sheet crashed on her, 3 phone calls later to the helpline and it still wasnt resolved.0 -

I think it depends on the order of submission of the applications/tests.
If you put 2 applications in before you do the test then I think it asks you to do the test twice.
I applied for one area, did the test then applied for another and didn't need to do the test again.0 -
I've applied for a EO position after it was recommended to me by a Jobcentre Adviser. I graduated in the summer and have very little work experience, so struggled with the competency statements. I left one of the competencies blank (leadership iirc) and assume I'll be rejected on this basis. I did score in the 83rd percentile, which I guess isn't too bad given the fact that I've never completed an assessment or been in a managerial position before. Ah well, I look forward to my rejection email..0

Many staff at Jobcentres with years of experience & responsible customer facing jobs are not EOs.
Don't do yourself down.0 -
EOs are meant to be manager jobs for experienced people.

About equal ratio of AO to EO these days and not many AA's left.
i.e Personal Adviser is an EO grade.
The test was for AA to EO grade btw.0 -
