When you have selected your interview date/time should you get anything confirming it? I confirmed a time but when I log in now it is still saying invited to 1st interview and the interview slots are still there. Should I book again?

Pls Check your communication - the confirmation of slot mail should be there as well as in the mail box.

I have firefox and after disabling the firewall and typing in the http:// - the page opened.

*sigh* - I just wish I knew one way or another - still nothing from Staffs/Shrops. I will call again tomorrow to see what update they have but I do wonder that with this wait whether it will be good news!!

Anyways good luck to all those who already have interviews - I hope everyone does well.

I haven't heard anything either for staffs/shrops or Worcester for that matter thought we would here one way or the other today just want to get this over now.

So you are the first one to be interviewed in Feb. Hope there are no nasty surprises.

Just got an interview - Leicester and Northamptonshire!! 92% on the on line test but 21 on the competencies. Very relieved!

Have taken slot next Friday - first available day.

Now trying to open the links - wont work in Chrome or Firefox!!!

Thats music to my ears, thats one of my choices, I was 92% too and competencies of 27 (marked by Notts as that is my home office) so hopefully I will get offered one soon too..

    Lots of luck :)
  • I think Staffs/Shrops will be 'on hold' forever! :p

Has anyone been invited to interview for either B'ham or Black Country districts yet?

Question: how do they decide where the border is for your home district. Because from my postcode it looks like I live in one but my council is in another

Which is your local Job Centre ie where would you be expected to sign on if you needed to?

Just my opinion but I imagine that would be your home office. :)

Based on my postcode my 'home' district is BC but it's my B'ham marks which stand [BC is listed as all 1s].
I would have to sign in a BC jobcentre.
I applied for BC first and completed that test first but it's not classing it as my 'home' district.
I think it's because I got higher test scores in B'ham so that was sifted first [just a guess???]
