Perhaps those among us who are seen first will share their interview experiences, but I have a strong suspicion that interviewers will be wanting to hear about the competency statements we've made on our application forms, suitably adjusted after feedback (as mine will most certainly be, IF I get an interview), plus any other examples we deem relevant.

In previous interviews of a similar nature I've attended this is what has happened, but there have also been one or two extra questions that can be quite awkward, such as 'can you give us an example of what you did when something went wrong please'.

Suggest you DON'T say, 'it all started to go really wrong when I applied for an EO post with DWP'.

My overall competency score was only 1 mark different from yours athenjam, and from a different district. I based only one competency on my EO FTA job, my others were all from other work.

I don't see a pattern of discrimination against any particular group of applicants.

Like you my '5' was my own fault, "insufficiently coherent" the sifter wrote, reading it back I can't dissagree!

That's what I was trying to get across, by diverse choices, I mean not just focusing on one specific job or setting. I've been told that applicants come across far better if they can show evidence from different jobs or activities. All your competencies could be work based but it comes across better if they're from a different job than just one. Working with diversity could be shown in DWP EO work but I think you might get downgraded if all your competencies talk about work as an EO in DWP and don't include other things.

If in interview they quite often ask you to give different examples to what you wrote down on your competency statement. If all your choices are from your time as an Eo in DWP they'll also be looking to see how you met the criteria outside of that setting. By all means write down about working with diversity or whichever as an EO but remember in interview you'll have to give other examples of when you have met those competencies.

Also my guess is you'd get marked below 4's on the competencies if you didn't follow either STAR (Situation, Task, Action, Result) or CAR (Context, Action, Result). I was always told to give specific examples following either of those systems.

.Will def share the experience after the interview.
The feed back was good so hopefully it will be good enough for the interview too. If further question arise from my examples, I will prepare them. I am sure the RETEST is RUMOUR, interview is all about the work experience.

When you have selected your interview date/time should you get anything confirming it? I confirmed a time but when I log in now it is still saying invited to 1st interview and the interview slots are still there. Should I book again?

Some of us haven't had any feedback.....not even any scores - could be a good thing I suppose, but not much opportunity to improve !

I got an immediate @mail confirming and adding extra information such as need to bring photo which is not asked for anywhere in the documents - and there are lots of them.

Many thanks to AOboy above who told me how to open them (You need to type https:// in front of the browser link) - the chap at the contact centre said keep trying!!

How would have stayed sane without this site I don't know!

Thanks, - what are the documents? I haven't been sent them either. I do have info about a photo though, in the same message that asks me to book an interview....

On the main site under Application Status there a list of red links:

    Information regarding Competencies
What you need to bring to your interview
    Character form
    CRB Letter
    Pensions Questionnaire
    Important Information
    Reschedule

The @mail confirmation said there were attachments but they weren't there!!

Hey guys had feedback this morning from Staffs/Shrop - my home postcode area and they all 4's!!! the feedback states acceptable but too process orientated. And quite frankly I am annoyed.
I applied for another CS job in the North West and used exactly the same competencies for the same framework less than 6 months ago and got 3-8's and 2-7's - there cannot be that much discrepancy in the marking!!

Did someone say there was an email address where you could dispute your scores??

    Thank you

Not surprised you're annoyed, I would be too. Hope it's enough to get you an interview though!

Has anyone else at all had any results for Staffs/Shrops?? It's driving me crazy!!!
When you're going through hell, keep going...

*sigh* - I just wish I knew one way or another - still nothing from Staffs/Shrops. I will call again tomorrow to see what update they have but I do wonder that with this wait whether it will be good news!!

Anyways good luck to all those who already have interviews - I hope everyone does well.
