I've given up on that one til end of month at least - someone mentioned not likely to hear until 27th I think.:)0 -
Does anyone know what the interview process is going to be like? Do they base the questions on the competencies you already gave in the application form or do they ask for new competencies?0

All of my comptencies were based on when I was an EO at JCP last year and I scored 3*6, 1*5 and 1*7. The 5 is my own fault as it was very similar to the preceding competency and that's what they said on the feedback. So I don't think if you 'only' use work exampls then you get marked down, unless I just got lucky and had a generous marker!£2012 in 2012 - £13810

My overall competency score was only 1 mark different from yours athenjam, and from a different district. I based only one competency on my EO FTA job, my others were all from other work.
I don't see a pattern of discrimination against any particular group of applicants.
Like you my '5' was my own fault, "insufficiently coherent" the sifter wrote, reading it back I can't dissagree!0 -
For those who were looking for extra guidance in prep for interview, I found the below link to be helpful to get me thinking along the right lines.
When trying to think of possible ways to answer the questions, I'm pretty sure you should still be basing them on STAR. Not all the types of questions will be applicable but there are definitely a good number of competencies which match those DWP are looking for.
