Has anyone heard anything from South London yet - competency scores and/or interviews?

Just come off the phone to recruitment line, South East Wales interviews are scheduled to start 1st March so we should know if we have been invited any day now. Fingers crossed!!

When did you get your interview through? Its just wierd how your the only one who has got an interview for Birmingham so far on this thread, when quite a few people on here have applied for Birmingham?

Where are the interviews being held?

My partner has applied but has yet to hear anything about an interview nor a rejection email.

Wonder if its alphabetical? My partners surname begins with W.

While I was prepared to make allowances for the difficulties of processing a very large number of applications they do seem to have made a total mess of it. Having got a 99th percentile score from the test I felt encouraced to apply quite widely, end ended up making 5 applications. So far this is what I've had back:

North Scotland - my home region (a dodgy concept in my view, if I hadn't applied here where would my 'home' region be?) have provided competency scores of 1, 2, 2, 2, 2. I suspect marking by a not very well trained chimpanzee, but obviously if those scores are carried over to the other regions then I have no chance. No communication since 21st Jan.

Thames Valley - nothing since last email on 25th Jan.

Southern-Wessex - nothing since last email on 21st Jan.

Coventry etc. - status changed to on hold 2 weeks ago, nothing else since last email on 25th Jan.

Gloucestershire - nothing since last email on 21st Jan.

Since getting the competency scores I've reduced my checking to once or twice a day to look for rejection emails, but it seems like they can't even be bothered to do that. I think it's unlikely that I'll be wasting my time on Civil Service recruitmant campaigns in the future.

Good luck to those who have managed to get interviews, and to those with decent scores I hope you get your interview invitations soon.

Still nothing from South or East London. West London are starting to get their act together though.

My partner rang the recruitment helpline and they state that Birmingham interviews are starting on the 5th March?

This is such a strange process, especially as Wanda has an interview today for Birmingham!!!!

Did you tell them that you 'know' someone who has their interview before the 5th March?
