Hi athenajm,
Did they give you any idea as to when they might start letting people know about interviews? Starting to have a sinking feeling as I think my comp scores may not be enough:(. The suspense is killing me!!
No, she just said to keep checking. My friend in the job centre said that they have a computer problem (at least that's what the staff have been told) so they're not going to let us know till next week or more likely the week after, but who knows. The recruitment person didn't say anything about that and we had a good chat about the recruitment drive. I am so fed up with checking all the time, but I can't stop. I think I'm addicted to the website! :rotfl:£2012 in 2012 - £13810 -
Tired of checking website.... Emails, junk mail Feedback, communication... It's so Frustratng, every morning till 5 , checking it time and time again... Aw well, any news from east Scotland...? Recruitment said first week of march is decided for interviews. So they will let us know whatever outcome is soon I guess.0

I scored 89% in the assessment and have also received same e-mail from Northumbria/ Tyne and Wear.
Also gutted competencies not marked as took ages to write up.
Have e-mailed asking what raised passmark is but don't expect reply.
Disheartening when reading in some areas people through to interview stage with passmark of only 49% !!0 -
I complete agree I cannot believe that they haven't even looked at some competencies! It's a completely unfair post code lottery suppose in the north east it's because we rely so heavily on public services as there is 0 private sector investment.
I still haven't heard anything from Durham Tees Valley....have started applying for other jobs interestingly I applied for another section of the civil service and their recruitment process is completely different.
I am starting to have second thoughts if I would even want to work for the DWP after all that has been posted on this link and the clear flaws in the system.0 -
Yeah always total mess. I got through EO recruitment just over 2 years ago but JC+ stopped giving posts while I was on waiting list so been drawn into fiasco of it all again !
I'm also waiting for Tees Valley result. Scored over 90% in that assessment but still expecting bad news !0 -
Just received my competencies for the North West and the scores are even worse that the North Wales. The feedback for each competency was 'Insufficient examples that was specific to competency' That's me out of the running. I'm really sad:(:(
I don't get this, were we supposed to give more than one example or only one?0 -
Recruitment lady said , everyone no matter which district ,will get definite yes or no answer by this Friday or latest next Tuesday. So this chase will be over...0
-
No it will not - this is what we have been told week after week after week... sigh....
I just can not get my head round the fact that East London set the pass mark at 35%.
Everyone raised their pass mark but East London lowered theirs - WHY?
To accomodate whom exactly I wonder......,0 -

Received my scores for Derbyshire over the weekend - 5,5,5,4,4. Just received my scores for the North West - 8,8,8,8,8 (same competency statements). Hoping they go with the North West competency marks!
Does anyone know what happens in this situation? Thanks.
PS - Still waiting for W Yorkshire scores.
Hi Keyser,
Well done on your scores, I think the highest I've seen on this forum from the North West. Received my scores from North West last week and was very disappointed (4,4,5,5,5,). Feedback bland and looked like it had been cut and pasted. It would be really helpful if you could post or pm me with your examples so could see what a high scoring one looks like to help me next time as don't think i'll be offered interview with my scores. Thanks0
