Do you think it would be a major problem if you couldn't find your P45/P60s?? I haven't been called for interview (yet - hopefully!) but thought it was a good time to search my building site/renovation in progress to find my P60s. I can find my P60 for 08/09 then I left that job in June but can't find my P45. I then went onto JSA and can't find the P45 for that. Nor can I find my P60 for 09/10 and 10/11 from JCP who were my next employer but I can find my P45 for when I left them in August last year!!!! Then I was S/E for 2 months and have no proof of that unless my UTR is sufficient.
Arggghhhh....what to do, what to do...
Does anyone have any helpful suggestions? I've looked EVERYWHERE that I can think of and some places that I knew they woudn't be, just on the off-chance!
Do they want them for proof of employment etc...

Advice I would give if I wre at work would be to call 0845 3000627 and get statements of taxable income. But that would be because I would usually be after proof of income. So, might be worth a go?
  • I'm not sure why they want them, I don't remember them asking for them on the last recruitment drive and there's nothing on their website, it's just that people on here have mentioned it.
Typical, I can find all my P60s/P45s from previous years going back to 2001 but not the ones I need

P60s, P45s or 3years worth of wage slips.........? Dear God, Im gonna be busy tomorrow! Haha!!!!!

I mentioned a 2nd job in my application, but they went into liquidation just over 2years ago. I dont have any wage slips for them, I binned all that stuff last year :s what do I do? Just provide what I can? Eeeeeeeeeeeeeek!!!

Oh and found out by re-reading the handout that it says you only need to take a passport photo with you if you DONT have photographic identity eg PASSPORT OR UK PHOTOCARD LICENSE.

Phew..... they must photocopy it once your there or something eh?

Super excited about the interview, not so excited about trying to find my stuff!!! haha x
  • I can't find my X Factor tickets. Put them safe and can't find them know. Agh! (jokes). But I really can't find them

Heres one of my examples... Feedback good and bad much appreciated!

Operational Delivery – Ensuring a professional performance
As part of my role within the third sector I was required to deliver employability training to 50 local residents within the Sandwell region. As part of this project I was very meticulous in my approach creating a written detailed plan of what I wanted to achieve and by what given dates.

The initial part of the project involved a client engagement whereby I would be assessing client’s strengths, weaknesses and work areas of interest and experience. I wished to complete this area within a specific time frame which would allow me to move onto the next stage of the project.

Problems occurred however in the fact that I did not anticipate that the regular clients within the community centre would not be enough. Therefore I took on a proactive approach of visiting local job centres in aiming to attract and sell the project to prospective clients in which the feedback was positive from all involved.

After I had engaged with the 50 individuals, it was a case of continual 1:1 personal support and mentoring from online job support, creation of CVs and cover letters, application form help and overall confidence building.

I am proud to say of the 50 individuals engaged with, 8 were placed into voluntary, part time or full time positions. As a fully fledged trustee of the organisation I still play an active role in the organisation and often encounter visits from clients I have worked with which is something I find truly rewarding.

  • Long-time lurker, first-time poster.

Received my scores for Derbyshire over the weekend - 5,5,5,4,4. Just received my scores for the North West - 8,8,8,8,8 (same competency statements). Hoping they go with the North West competency marks!

Does anyone know what happens in this situation? Thanks.

PS - Still waiting for W Yorkshire scores.

I was told yesterday by the recruitment help line that your 'home' district - i.e the district where your home postcode is in - will be the one to determine your comp scores and those are suppose to be propigated to the other regions you have
applied to - all other regions are not suppose to be marking you. My decent B'ham scores have been replaced with 1's as Staffs/Shrops is going to (at some point this year I hope ;)) mark my comps and those are supposedly to be the ones used to determine if I get invited to an interview!!

Still interesting to see that your seperate regions are still marking comps seperately so who knows if the above is actually what is really happening. To be honest I have given up trying to understand what is happening with this recruitment - every day someone hears something different from the recruitment help line that contridicts what someone else heard the previous day!!

Thanks for the info. Luckily my postcode is a North West one.
  • According to a lovely woman at the recruitment line, SE Wales hasn't yet decided a pass mark as they still haven't finished markign the competencies, so they can't tell anyone whether they have an interview or not. Also one of my friends at the Job Centre has said that there's uproar today as internal candidiates have been told that their internal app scores are being used if they've applied for ext vacancies in Welsh or English. One guy got low scores on the internal app, but all 7s on a Welsh application and so now won't get called for interview. It's all craziness.

    Hi athenajm,

Did they give you any idea as to when they might start letting people know about interviews? Starting to have a sinking feeling as I think my comp scores may not be enough:(. The suspense is killing me!!
