  • Got an interview for Birmingham! Was getting worried because my onlie test gave me 49% but 42/45 on the competencies was what was important. I rang the helpline just for clarity and was told that if you haven't been told you failed the I online test then your score is now irrelevant and it's the competencies that matter. Was also told my competencies were the best in the area from those they've seen :D

I wouldn't count your chickens yet. If you come across in the interview anything like you do online then you have no hope.....

I applied for Sussex/Surrey and have heard absolutely nothing but that's a different region is it?

I'm not entirely sure how they're grouping the areas to be honest, on the website it says ive applied for Southern Wessex but on the people manning the helpline phones have said it's Southern Sussex.

I'm actually looking to work in the Bournemouth, Weymouth, Wareham etc area and apparently there has been relatively less applicants when compared to the rest of England and so everyone applying for the same area as me have all been invited to interview regardless of competency scores.

Congrats on securing an interview. Now stop gloating! You're lucky the online test pass mark was sooo low.

Same here! But they haven't used my 'home' district, they have used the first sift scores I received [B'ham]. My BC scores have changed, they are all 1s now and it says please refer to B'ham scores/feedback. This actually works in my favour because I received lower scores [for the same examples] for BC.
Still don't know if it's enough to get through to interview though!

I had all 1s for brum first then bc said ref to brum for feedback like yours say and had put all 1s. Brum is nit my home district. I wish they had bothered to mention this 1 thing my weekend was ruined

There are so many things that they could have done to make this entire process less stressful and fairer - but so far most things they have done (or not done) have been illogical and farcical to say the least. The fact I had good scores for B'ham but now have all 1's with no reference to other scores/districts and the fact the other districts show awaiting review with no scores is frustrating. If I hadn't had this board to reference that would have totally freaked me out. Goodness only knows when Staffs/Shrops will score me as they have been on hold now for over a week!
  • Yeah my weekend was wrecked too, does this mean that staffs which is on hold actually have my real comp scores and not just all 1s like brum and BC state? BC should be my home office as i live in walsall, so confused lol
  • been told they will be re-sifting bham again!
