DWP Recruiting Again - 2012

Well folks, that's me out now, got my rejection email this morning saying my competency scores weren't high enough - still no feedback under them and that has been raised but I'm going to draw a line under it now and move on.
I wish everyone still waiting the very best of luck.:)0 -

My BC scores have changed, they are all 1s now and it says please refer to B'ham scores/feedback. This actually works in my favour because I received lower scores [for the same examples] for BC.
Still don't know if it's enough to get through to interview though!
Which one is your 'home' district? It is so aggravating as the B'ham scores could have been enough for an interview but now I am back to not knowing what I have scored and when it will be scored - this is so depressing. They don't even tell me to refer to any other scores/feedback - the scores have just all been changed to 1's with the original comments being left in place!!0 -

Take care and best of luck to you.0 -
Well I just checked my applications and Staffs/Shrops still shows 'on hold' and 'awaiting review' and Black Country shows 'Situation Test completed' and awaiting review' and both show nothing under feedback.
However my Birmingham one which had comp scores last week of 77676 and basic feedback stating either strong or acceptable examples given has now been changed to all 1's with the same comments
I called the recruitment line and she told me that was because Staffs is the one who are going to give my marks and propogate them to the other districts as that is my home district and that is why B'ham has changed to 1's!!! I pointed out that giving me scores and then negating them wasn't very good or professional and she agreed and gave me the e-mail to complain to - I had taken screen copies of the previous scores for my records!!
She then couldn't tell me when Staffs/Shrops will be giving me scores as they (the recruitment line) weren't being told anything about when people could expect results due to the large number of applicants. Has anyone got scores from Staffs/Shrops yet?
This entire process is growing more farcical by the minute
Ive applied for the same districts as you. I also have the same information. I have scores for Brum nit very good though. 4,3,4,3,3 so i think that rules me out. Brum and BC are saying still waiting to be reviewed, Staffs on hold since last week. I wish they would just get it over with and let us no. Annoying is an understatement, i never known anything like it. The last recruitment which i was successful at obtaining a EO position was not this bad. You had Maths & Lit test and they gave you an interview date their an then if you passed the test. The comps were used in the interview. That was a bigger recruitment.0 -
Ok, so just been on the phone to the 'help line' and they have just said that my competencies haven't been scored at all, and nor will they be. Not feeling great about that as I really wanted the feedback on those to prep for my interview and in addition it is just down right annoying as I spent a week writing them!
So apparently there must have been a smaller number of applicants in the Southern Sussex area
as they have invited everyone for interview and have deemed it unnecessary to
sift competencies.
Has anyone else on here applied for Southern Sussex who have been invited for interview without receiving competency scores?
In light of the fact that no applicant who applied for this area will be receiving any feedback, it would be helpful if we could find out how many people have been invited for interview and how many positions there are at least! I feel like I'll be going in to this interview totally blind without any feedback!!!
At least you are in the happy position of having an interview! I have heard that the panel won't necessarily have access to your comps. They will ask you new questions anyway.
Good luck and stop worrrying!0 -

Sorry to hear that. Good luck for the future.0 -

I live in the Black Country but I had my B'ham scores through first. I did score 97% in the BC test and 99% in the B'ham test so maybe B'ham sifted first because my percentile was higher?
My sift scores total 29.
Staffs/shrops application still says 'on hold'. Scores haven't been copied across.
I hate being so in the dark! The waiting is killing me!:mad:0 -
Having only found out about the vacancy on the final day, I was happy that I managed to score in the 92nd percentile and eventually marked 4 5 4 5 5. However, after reading through this thread, I doubt I'll be selected for interview.
(Only applied to Brum)
I'd just like to thank everyone for sharing what information they had.
Good luck to those who have an interview and I hope the rest of us get something decent soon.0 -

I scored 96% in the test. My competencies were scored 4,5,6,6,6 27/45. I have received an email from dwp saying that my application was unsuccessful due to my competencies this is for all three regions in Derbyshire, Birmingham and Shropshire.
Stunned I was an external candidate. I called the number provided in the email and they said i was 2 short. Only scores 29/45 are being accepted for interview in these regions.
Some regions scores may vary. Some competencies arent being marked due to applicants.
Wow they must have some great applicants in your area. That's rubbish for you:(0 -

I applied for Sussex/Surrey and have heard absolutely nothing but that's a different region is it?0
