It's not possible to say in advance what you need in order to progress to the next stage. The percentage is not a score, it is your percentile place in comparison to other people. If the figure you receive is 90% that means you have been placed in the top 10%.
Because they have no idea in advance how many people will apply they can't say what the qualifying percentile is. If they want to interview 200 people then if 1000 apply the qualifying level is 80% but if 2000 apply the level is 90%.0 -
I applied for the Welsh-speaking EO posts in North Wales, did the test and then applied for the same area but without the requirement for Welsh. I apparently do not need to do the test again though as it says I've completed the test for the second post?? Anyone had this experience when applying for sepearate jobs in the same area? (Hope my question's clear!)
ThanksIn deep...0 -
I did the test today. I was applying for a part-time Advisers post not Department Head or Budget Controller. If one does get through to the interview is there any role-play?
No role play. When you apply for a position even though it is Part time adviser you are actually applying for a Grade of post in CS, this means you could end up in any job of that grade of their choosing at a later date. The jobs at that grade are numerous and diverse using various skills."You've been reading SOS when it's just your clock reading 5:05 "0 -
My scores were:
Overall Score (percentile): 84%
Interpreting your score
This means that your score on this exercise was higher than at least half of the group of people you have been compared to. You have performed above average in responding to the case studies presented in the exercise.
Analysis and Interpretation Raw Score: 21/24
Action Planning Raw Score: 238/336
That sucks, doesn't it.0 -

I wonder if anyone who has applied previously might know anything about the way the areas work, particularly with respect to multiple applications?
I have applied for one area, but could potentially also apply for a second, less local area. I am unsure whether to make a second application.
Does anyone know if two applications are treated seperately, or would two or more applications just be treated as a single application to work across any of the areas applied to? Could an applicant potentially receive two offers from different areas?
I have worked for them before as a fixed term last year, each district has a different ref, an so each are treated differently like you had applied to 2separate jobs. Hope this helps, however test scored and crb checks used for 1 application can be used across all applications!0 -
Is there a literacy/numeracy test for EO roles now?0
