You did very well MarkyMark, best overall scores I have heard on and off of here. I guess you have the right to gloat (a teensy bit) but I think your timing was off on the day you did it
As for Wanda, I personally think the jobcentre would be better off with an 'all rounder' that gained a decent mark in online scores and say 5's and 6's upwards for comps.0 -
Heard that not all forms were being sifted, -each district have set their own pass mark and will only sift those over that pass mark, even if you passed the online test if the district you have applied for have set a higher pass mark, your competencies wont even get looked at - JOKE!!!0

Wandafish do you mind saying what scores you got for your initial online test?0

Ok well I said i'd been following it, I obviously havent read every page. Well done to him if he did well I just dont really see the point of people questioning me on 'what would you say if this happened' because it hasn't happened and it wont. Like i said before DWP have put their recruitment process in place and everyone should have know what it was about when they applied. People have done well at one stage and not complained. They do badly at the next and suddenly it's a load of rubbish and should be taken to the Head of the World.
How old are you, seriously? Your posts are laden with digs and immature comments. Is this how you plan to speak to people with whom you disagree at work? Because it'll take more than STAR to have you keep it with that attitude.0 -
I said one of the London districts, not necessarily all and I would rather not reveal which one isn't publically.
I may have missed one but I'm not sure I've seen a single post with from a London applicant who has received a competency score.
Absolutely true...no one has posted a comp score for London...does make you wonder what on earth is going on...but I will stop playing the guessing game now as it's only driving me crazy. I suppose I should be used to their tendency not to adhere to their own process considering I used to work for them!

I heard this too heard my area were only sifting 80 percentile only which means the 2 1/2 days i worked on my competencies not even looked at. Hopefully this is hearsay.
I think if you passed the test all competencies should be looked at else whats the point in writing them should have asked you to write them after.0 -

I'm 30. I haven't had a dig at anyone I've simply put across my opinion.0 -

I agree, spent about 10 days working on mine, re-wording etc but didnt do great on the test-no wonder they are keeping this information quiet-makes a mockery of the full recruitment process if each area has different pass marks for sifting purposes:o0 -

Sorry I missed it...
Gosh I bet you were worried about getting through... sorry I don't mean to sound derogatory...
I just feel you should be a little more understanding to those that got high scores in their online test but not so much on their competencies... You are the same just the other way around...
Hoping that all that deserve it, at least get an interview to prove their worth...
