Just rang got straight through no wait. Comps should be on by the end of today unless they are running behind and if passed for interview we should get email next week. This is the info the nice chap I spoke to has been given
Thanks - let's hope that is correct. I just want to know one way or another.0 -

If I get a job with DWP, would they be able to use this most recent CRB?
In a word - no.
Strictly speaking - CRBs are only valid on the day they are done - which is why in some places (like a top girls' college I once temped for) they are repeated every three months.0 -
Did he have a squeaky voice then?
Sorry - couldn't resist that! Going la la here...
I've gone back and changed it now realised I had called the poor chap a mouse. I know what you mean about going la la. I want to book a holiday first week in April I can get a good deal. DH said book it but I'm scared to in case I get through to interview and I'm away. Then knowing my luck I won't get to interview and will miss out. It's in the UK but would be too far to come back. It's like being held to ransom. Agh0 -
Does anyone know if 'on hold' means your comps are definitely being looked at? I am starting to think I am just on hold while higher test scorers are being marked (hence no feedback) and then I will just get 'no' next week.:(0

still awaiting review for both east and north Scotland

I'm begining to think no news is bad news as I know some people have had scores back from these areas
I still think no news is just no news, from the information available.
My North Scotland application has been "On Hold" since Tuesday. I don't think anyone on this forum has said that they have had sift feedback in this district.
North Scotland may be a bit different from others, as there are some very remote offices that are impossible to cummute to from the rest of the district. They might be sifting and interviewing for these individually.0 -

I think CS are generally very understanding and would make allowances for someone who had a holiday booked. You could ask the helpline about that.
Mind you - you would probably end up spending the week revising competencies - arrgh!0 -
Got my comp scores back and am out of the running. Hardly surprising given I didn't use STAR. But good luck to the rest of you - to be honest have found applying for the dwp so frustrating I won't be trying again. Would rather apply and have the instructions I must read provided when I fill the darn app out.
Just had to vent, sorry.0 -

You'll also find that lots of people signed up just to write on this thread, but maybe none of their scores offended you? Get lost you bitter person.
Hi. I don't know how to reply privately. Can you send me a message?0 -

Sorry to hear that SpiralGalaxy. I suppose you don't definitely know - you could be surprised? - did you get helpful feedback?0 -

When I called the recruitment help line last week I was told that 'on hold' meant your competencies were being marked. I scored in the 94th percentile and my Staffs/Shrops app is 'on hold'0
