Well that's thrown a spanner in the works!!:rotfl:

Were Hants and IOW internal or external?

I am an external candidate if that's what you mean.

I would imagine you have a good case for at least getting an interview in the area which was lower marked. I am hanging my hopes on my competencies being marked higher in the second area I applied for, especially if yours are anything to go by!

I am pretty happy with my B'ham marks, although they still might not be good enough to get an interview.

I am gutted at the vast difference between the 2 regions - mainly because I really wanted Black country as first choice, but what upsets me the most is that I want to use the info constructively for future applications/interviews and I am now not sure if my competencies are ultra bad or OK?

Good luck - I am hoping your scores are really good! :D

Well I look to have b@lls it in my first area but the second area hasn't scored yet. If I go on to pass the second area I'm thinking I might have a case for re-scoring in the first, or at the very least, go with the 2nd and if successful, try get a transfer later down the line.

I wish I'd never checked the website and just waited for an email telling me one way or the other now, as I'm refreshing the Civil Service job page all the time, 'just in case'.:o

Now I'm wondering how you can have got an interview without your competencies being scored? Did they just invite everyone who passed the online test in that area?

    Hi

    First time on here!

I received an invitation to 1st interview on 11th February, 2012 by email and have booked the interview slot - however, I have no knowledge of the sift scores for competencies (not in my feedback section). This is for the Hants & IOW region. I have applied for Wessex too but have heard nothing from that region and have no sift scores either.

Did you do the online test etc too? Im confused as to why tehy wouldnt give you a competency score first? Do you think this means that people that havent heard back are getting automatic interviews then?

I hate this waiting game :(

  • Nugget of information for North West - asked in the job centre today and they said we should hear back over the next couple of days, but the interviews aren't going to be until the 20something of March!
