  • Ello people, I would like to join in too, was just having a flick through as I do before I fall asleep and found this. I'm so excited but just don't have energy to read it all and take it in just now. Working 2 hrs mon/ tues do may not get proper time to clock in till wed. I have tried a few relaxations and would really like to get on with the mindfulness stuff to help relax . I also create stories or arguments in my head and stress myself out as well as having stress full job.

I would love to know more about GLasgow Yoga centre as I live in north Lanarkshire so would be perfect for me.... Not stalking you goldilocks ( wS that your name typing from sleepy memory apogies for mistake :)

I really want to start taming care of my mental health more ( that's such a naughty word I. Our society which is a shame!!!) I stress out to much and it's not healthy for me or my hubby.

I look forward to following this thread, I'm sooo excited xxx

Along the top post of each thread page there is a drop drop down menu called thread tools, click on that and it will allow you to subscribe to the thread. When you want to find your subscribed threads above the top of the threads is another drop down menu called quick links and there is a short cut there to all the threads you have subscribed too.

  • Hi Sweet Cheeks and Bitsy Beans!
Great to have you on board, the more the merrier! Hopefully this thread will be around for a long time so we can help each other through out mindful journeys! Sweetcheeks: good to hear from a local girl! The centre I went to for the mindfulness course is in the west end of Glasgow. The website is www.mindfullybeing.co.uk. I think mindfulness can help with many kinds of mental health problem from anxiety to insomnia, depression and eating disorders. It takes perseverance though, results don't necessarily come straight away but I'd recommend it to anyone. Candygirl, glad you enjoyed your body scan. I've not done any mindfulness today but there's still time...
  • Thank you for that I will try and squeeze some google time into work tomorrow I thinks. Of to land of nod now but thank you and I will be back to visit soon and read through so I can take note of website & book / meditation suggestions:)
