We all still need:-

1) A copy of your new firmware (v1.2?)
2) A copy of whatever this "faster" ASF conversion software is

(or links to above)

Can someone post these up online? If not, PM me, and I'll work out some way for you to send them to me, and I can publish online.

iv phoned goodmans for mine gonna send later firmware out, hopefully v1.2! anyone confirm whether it will be this? i put the files from mustek website onto mine and it updated, hasnt crashed so far! but dates of files all the same as they were before, so maybe the same firmware i guess?! but guessing time will tell! Daz

The 'better' conversion software Goodmans are sending to those who ask for it, is the same as the one posted earlier in this thread (arcsoft MediaConverter 1).

Mine one was picked up today by ups to be returned for a refund.

Gave up in the end, a real shame!

Goodmans support told me today that there IS NOT ANY UPDATED FIRMWARE available.

this is the link, all i did was unzip this when it downloads, connected pvr up by usb and mass storage dragged the folder pvr data onto device to overwrite the folder on there, then when i disconnected it turned off, then turned back on it did a driver update and turned off, then turn back on and it was done, the goodmans logo on start-up will be gone for a nice pvr one too, hasnt crashed in a couple of days now, so looks more promising! if and when my goodmans firmware arrives i will try and post it if its any good! thanks
