£127 at Amazon, so this is definitely a good price. It was a good spot. However the reviews are absolutely awful!

Great find, unfortunately, hate to be the bearer of bad news, but apparently this unit has a bad habit of locking up:-

True but the last review was in May 06, I would hope that a lot of the bugs would have been ironed out with software updates.

Was interested but apparently it has to transcode xvid files you drop onto it into some MS format!!! What a waste of time

You would wouldn't you, but they haven't. The price has dropped to this level because no one in their right mind will buy one.

Well, a freind purchased one just before Xmas for a little over £100 and I had a go of it last weekend and thought it was a great little device.... even at that price......

He had the wireless Transmitter (that are now legal) from a BP garage (£6.99)and was sending MP3's to his radio..... and the sound quality was great.......

After seeing this, i had my eye out for a bargain....... so i've ordered mine

I've got the warranty if anything goes..... but it's cheap, even if it is only ever used as an MP3 for the car or a basic backup device.......

Dont think Ive ever seen reviews so overwhelmingly bad on Amazon.

The problem is it only plays its own format of video file so you have to convert everything using the software supplied which is eeeextremely sloooow.
