I have an "updated" disc, which apparently is v1.0.1 of the software. What version did peeps get in the box with the unit?

How are you getting on with this? Would you recommend it?
Reviews are poor but the price makes it tempting as a storage device with added functions.

Realise this mate, but many people have purchased the Grundig, which originally sold for over £300, and have been very very happy.

Less can be said about the purchasers of this!!

Just take a look at the thread Best gadget/media player - you'll see!

BUT THIS IS CHEAPER BY QUITE A MARGIN.
If all it does it store/play 40Gb of MP3s for me, then it's a bargain.

  • Sounds amazing for the price. But I bought a stereo made my Goodmans once. I had to return it for repair 4 times in the first year, and that was well-established technology, I can't imagine how bad they could have made something like this. Of coarse I may have been unlucky but personally I would recommend going for a better brand if you can.

Doesn't sound that great to me, having read it... Quite a few complaints both about the unit, and the grundig customer service!
