Have finally made a list of everything in my large freezer :T It needs defrosting so good time to start eating our way through it. Will try doing meal plans for the next couple of weeks and that should help get us back on target with the groceries. Popped into the supermarket on Good Friday for a couple of bits and came out with a trolley full :(
Easter has been lovely with lots of time spent with family and friends, little ones have finally recovered from all their bugs so got lots of sleep too. Was hoping to get my potatoes planted today but has rained all day. Did manage to get the vegetable patch dug on Friday but didn't collect the potatoes from my Dad until Saturday so couldn't plant them. The rain is good for the weedkiller we put on the grass as it needed to be washed in.
Hope everyone has had a lovely Easter :)

I have very recently done this and emptied (and rehomed) my big freezer. I must admit, it has saved loads, as I haven't done a 'big' shop for ages. I am still ploughing my way through the stores in fact, as the freezer bit of the fridge freezer is still stuffed full

Oh I took out a plastic container and am currently playing "guess the contents as it defrosts" ... There are a lot of plastic containers. This game could go on for a few weeks!!!

Sadly the only home cooking in my freezer is the little ones stuff, so no freezer surprise for me :rotfl:

April OP of £500 made today, £300 for this month and £200 for May so that I get a letter showing me how long I have to go on the 2nd part of my mortgage. I miss those letters, haven't had one since January :rotfl:

Letter arrived, now 10 years 11 months on the 2nd part of our mortgage. 1st part was at 11 years 1 month in January so pleased with how well we've done. Original mortgage end date was 2031 and is now 2023 which sounds so much better and isn't too far away from my MF target date of September 2020 :D
Struggling a bit this month with little ones and lack of job security for OH. All this rain isn't helping, lets hope for some sunshine to lift my spirits soon
