Lots more listing on ebay done this weekend. Had a good weekend of sales from the 99p items I listed, took ages to pack them all for posting but DH helped so could have been worse. Post Office visit tomorrow isn't going to be quick but worth it for another £20 in the OP pot :)

Failed miserably with not spending unless necessary until the end of February, however were mainly needs rather than wants so not feeling too bad about it.

    End of February update

    Mortgage overpayment £550 :)

Groceries £292.60/£300 so £8.40 under :j Great to see looking back on last year how I'm now managing to keep within the grocery budget each month. Stock up on products that we regularly use when they are on offer and this seems to have made quite a difference. Also rarely throw food away now which we were guilty of in the past :(

Ebay £56/£10 :j lots more space made too!

    Reviewing £20/£20 just made this

Surveys £0 Getting closer to payout :)

Finish decluttering house - have done a bit more but need to get my motivation

    Sort out those DD's for H@lifax a/c - Done :)

    March Targets

    Mortgage overpayment £375 (£200 regular OP, £20 reviewing, £100 interest received & £55 ebay)

    Groceries £300

    Ebay £10

Reviewing £20 Not likely to make this as have slowed down recently.

Surveys £10 maybe if get enough through!

Music M@gpie No luck shifting CDs on ebay so will sell them on here instead, got a few DVDs which haven't sold on ebay too that I'll add in. Books will be off to the charity shop.

After reading on Tilly's diary that food banks are struggling I added a couple of items to the collection point in my local supermarket. It's a shame that there aren't collection points in more supermarkets as they get the sale and the food bank gets more donations, win win!

Spending for March fairly low so far and credit card bill which cuts of this week isn't looking too bad.

Have moved money around to hopefully qualify for N@tionwide's 5% interest on their current account. Not sure whether this is just for new customers which I'm not but guess I'll find out in a months time when I should get interest showing. I've added moving the money in to my H@lifax shuffle, should think about setting these shuffles up as regular payments so I don't forget again.

Nothing on ebay this week but nearing payout on one survey site :)

Also had an extra quiche in with my grocery shop which I hadn't ordered (and wasn't charged for) :D

Payout reached on one of the survey sites so £10 @mazon voucher on the way :)

Plan this weekend to list some more items on ebay and relist my non 99p ones as it's FLW. Also going to plug all the CDs and DVDs into Music M@gpie that I need to get rid of. That will just leave the books which I will donate to the summer fete at my Gran's nursing home.

Commuting costs increase £6 pw from next week :( not good but unavoidable.

Spending still remaining low and hoping for another smallish credit card bill when it cuts off in the next few days. DH has been doing really well on not buying 'wants' which I know is hard for him :D

Looking forward to my lie in on Mother's Day, the thought of it has kept me going all week as got no energy and a slight cough/cold at the moment.
  • Thanks Twinny, I hadn't realised it was a FLW, so will crack on first thing and load stuff up :T

Tilly hope you managed to get more listed than I did! However good thing about FLWs is that the next one is never far away. I did manage to relist a few items and list some at 99p.

Have been really spoilt this weekend for Mother's Day, even got to do a bit of clothes shopping yesterday. Spent my Christmas money on giving my wardrobe a few more items from this decade :D

Tomorrow is MP and OP day so will be nice to see the balance reduce more :) MFi3 update has been submitted but still need to update my goal to show mortgage free, don't think I'll believe it until it is all paid off.

March OP made of £400, forgot about no CT again so will OP another to cover that and will round up to £200.

2 bids on ebay items so nice start to the week. Going to sort the Music M@gpie stuff tonight :)

Very cold here so heating back on as well as lots of layers.

After this month's OP my daily interest is now under £5 a day :j

Grocery budget slightly over this week so will try and compensate for that over the rest of the month. Have had family to dinner a couple of times this month which has pushed the cost up as my frugal ways aren't appreciated by some!

Bit of a slow month with extra OP raising. Have reached another survey payout but out of stock of my preferred choice of voucher. Eb@y sales slow, at £3.50 but the month is still young and target is only £10. Have 11 99p items listed to finished next weekend.
Music M@gpie order all but done, just need to finalise and that will hopefully be another £5.50.

Have been going shopping too much recently which is not good as been spending more! Aim not to buy anything else that's a 'want' not 'need' this month!!

:embarasse failed. Groceries over budget by loads, blame needing nappies & vitamins. Looking forward to not needing nappies anymore, not looking forward to the potty training

Found myself shopping yesterday with my nice new shiny sheet of advantage card point coupons. Bought myself some lovely 3 for 2 make up and collected lots of extra points :)

New aim is to keep spending to a minimum in April. Realised I needed to change my N@tionwide current account to qualify for the interest so have upgraded. They've scheduled it for a couple of weeks time so then I can use that as a savings account. Mad to be using current accounts for savings.

Hoping the weather warms up or the Easter bunny is still going to be in hibernation next weekend :EasterBun Keep warm all :)
