Is there a limit to 5 transactions a day (I'm just looking at the above thread). I have read the T&C's and can't see any reference to a maximum amount of transactions from one particular account e.g. egg savings.

Could you not just do 50 £1.01 transactions from egg saver all in the same day ? (plus one more for 50p to get to the maximum)

    Thanks!

The worry is that if you do too many, then LloydsTSB's anti-fraud computers will kick in and freeze the card for a couple of days.

It has been said earlier that no one knows how many transactions it is. Therefore best to spread out as evenly as possible.
  • It takes 4 business days to show up on an egg credit card. The transactions appeared next day in my bank account.

There is no hard and fast 'limit' - people are suggesting 5 as a nice low limit that isn't too small, and is able to fulfill the £50 per month.

I wouldn't advise 50 in one day since that is likely to trigger some sort of fraud alert on your card - easy enough to ring up and release the card I suppose, but why risk the hassle?

  • Hi

I have just opened a account up, what is the most transactions i can make in one day,

What is this minimum amount of petrol i can buy on this card?.
Thanks for the help in advance
  • If I want to make payments to a credit card to qualify for Save the Change do I need to initiate the payment from my credit card site or form the Lloyds TSB site?

it would be a shame to get it wrong!

From the credit card site. Though not all credit cards allow it(Nationwide?). If you do it via lloyds it'll go through as a bill payment..
  • I applied for the Save the change scheme on monday 12/02/07 its now 16/02/07

getting a bit inpatient wating for this to be activated!

How long did it take for everyone else?
  • I went into a branch, and asked for it that way and also to set up the basic tracker savings account.
It went through the same day - I checked on line and saw it was set up on my bank pages.

Did you do yours online? I gather some people have had a few problems with this. Best pop into a branch I reckon, if you can.
    By 'eck it gets complicated:confused:
