Seems that they're only charging a few people - those who don't use it very much.Conjugating the verb 'to be":

Hadn't realized it was possible to hold two current accounts in the same name with Lloyds.
I have a business account and a current account both in my name but STC doesn't apply to business accounts.
Oh well, will have to make do with £100.00!0 -
Just a warning for anyone using their debit card in a shop for the first time :
I thought I'd forgotten my pin after my card got blocked at ASDA recently. It turns out you need to visit a LloydsTSB ATM and "unlock" your pin for use (in shops).

Think I will try this, although it means some serious money shifting as I keep my Lloyds account at a minimum balance!0

Just registered for this with TSB. We have current a/c and savings a/c with them. Applied on line for this and it says they will write to you......so not sure if I need to wait till letter comes in or if I can start now to get the savings.:hello: Never say Never :smileyhea0

I too already had both accounts going. Owt for Nowt!!!!
Doubt I will go for the whole £100 if you have to make that many .01p purchases but will be worth a look!

Just tried registering online again but not going to hold my breath. Those that registered online after the scheme had started, how many days did it take to show in the payments/transfers section?
Paul.fun night ahead planned for me then

Question if anyone can help? Martin mentions transferring money from Lloyds into an Egg account, but will this work with any internet savings account? Not sure why he says Egg, unless for the ease of setting up?
Bit worried too, that I registered online and have hit my card and it won't have registered properly, best nip in on my lunch hour tomorrow!0 -

This means you can charge exact amounts to your debit card at anytime (you could charge £1.01 to your lloyds card really easily... and you could do this many times over). This is unusual, and I dont know any other bank which allows you pay money into a savings account by charging them to your debit card.0 -
