Right now I am in a quandry..,..

I have the money available as 0% again to me.....cos I paid it straight back...do I take it back out again and pay it back again cos I am effectively paying the balance that has interest with a new balance that is 0%????

Right - I have done it.

They will put it into my account tonight and I will pay it tomorrow so another 580 without interest charged.

So next month's statement should reflect this.

No I just need to hammer the payments and continue as I have been.

Isn't it just! I hope it works then I can keep doing it until the whole balance is at 0%.

Right - I have been thinking. I keep thinking that I need new clothes cos I look and feel drab however this morning I have worn a skirt that I keep for home (but never wear) to the office. It's a whole new outfit I wouldn't normally wear and I am pleased. At the end of the day I don't want to be spending on clothes when I don't have to.

I do need to put something into the budget though as I do need a few things such as undies and tights and mine are dropping to bits lol.

The kids are fully kitted out and don't need any more for the forseeable however I have a voucher for my son for Next so may get a winter coat or hat for him nearer the time.

My groceries are doing well and also the petrol is on target. I've started doing my hair myself so there's more money to the debt and combined with the house fuel reduction I am rather pleased.

Now what else can I cut down on

    Right (again)

I have had HM soup for lunch mmm - was lovely and zero fat so am pleased. Plan for this month is to not spend a penny on take away type food which includes anything from the cafe at work. Also I will not go out on my lunches for the sake of it as it uses petrol which I don't need to do. If there's jobs I need to do I will save them until I have a few and do them in one sitting.

Ok so lunches are taken care of and it means I will be able to reduce the freezer contents so I can defrost it ready to stock up for winter.

I have invested in a slow cooker which was £12 - I think it's a sound investment and will help keep my bills down.

Speaking of bills I have been working on reducing our gas and electricity consumption and have managed to allmost half it. I've been on the phone to them and they are willing to drop it again but not as much as I want as it's based on last 12 months useage. So it's gone from £187 18 months ago to £100 today. That's been slow progress but I am seeing the rewards.

Another £18 to debt then :)

I do think I have squeezed everything I can for the moment although I did say that before and have managed to do it again.

    Morning world

Today I feel hugely overweight and uncomfortable in my clothes and it is annoying the life out of me. The irony is I went to the gym last night and had a really good session! I am going to try and go 4 times this week. I need to look online into a few things as I refuse to go on a "diet" as they don't work for me and I would like my family to be healthier eaters. I do try and we are pretty good however it's difficult when working full time I find.

Today I was going to get a sausage bun from the canteen but I have brought in a yoghurt and some low fat soft cheese with crackers but I think crackers are fattening.

I will be collecting my slow cooker tonight so plan on making a lovely low fat soup in it as I have only 2 portions left of the veg one. Will have to look online at the recipes for one as I can pick the veg up when I collect the SC.

At the w/e I am going to bike to the gym with my family, not go to the gym, just see how long it takes, then onto the park so the kids don't complain too much ha!

It started off as a rant and kinda turned into a solution there so that's good :)

Right I am off to see if the money's gone in so i can pay it back.

0% money has gone in so I have paid it straight back, so overall that's another 1230 at 0%. I have apx 5.7k still with interest on so as these deals present themself, if indeed they continue to, I will keep doing it. The current offer ends today so I won't get any more out of this one.

I am feeling a bit less bloated now so that's good.

I have tried to reduce my car insurance but already at lower than anyone else will offer me so no go there.

All other bills are fixed bar groceries and fuel which are already hacked away at. I think I have flogged this one for now.

Next option is PPI claims so I will get those sent out today.
