Hi Emz  Thanks for subscribing
WOW tomorrow is the 500 mark. It's a sort of mile stone, 500 sounds good. Then into the 4's! I'm getting there.
I spent from my OD last night as DH is poorly and I wanted to treat him so went and bought some yummy things to cheer him up. It worked and he's having such a hard time that I am pleased I did it.
Out for lunch today however as I have had to cancel my hair appointment I can use the money from that to pay for it so not too bad. The spare money from hair will be kept in pot for emergency type things such as today - new prescription for DH. Robbin bar stewards they are....work all you life, you have to pay, don't work and claim - oh no you can have it for nothing.....grrr.
I am off to check my accounts.

Yay to nearly being in the 400s :T.
Don't get me started with prescription charges!! I have Cystic Fibrosis and still have to pay, but some others with conditions like diabetes don't. Doesn't make sense to me.
Also, parking at the hospital. I am registered disabled but still have to pay full whack (around £5 a time), but if I didn't work, then I would get free parking!! Makes me so angry.
Off my soapbox now.

Morning world
Well I am under 500 days to go!!!! Yipppeeee.
I will check accounts and report back. Need to use the "emergency pot" for a day trip with the school on Wed. £10 should cover it.
Diesel will be slightly lighter this week as I am using DH car also as he is off sick still.
Grocery spends went a bit OTT for some reason - need to figure that out. Still in overall budget but I have £9.66 left until 25th! That's the lowest budget I have had so I am really pleased even though left myself a bit short this week.
This week I would like to get my PPI claims sent again. I think I have bled this one dry but worth a shot in reply to the snotty letters they sent me.
Off to check accounts.

Some of my PPI people are being really slow to pay. I find this annoying.
Only Lloyds and Citi have paid up so far (plus the mortgage ppi which was unfortunately repaid to the ex). Ive another 6 to reclaim but they are all sitting with FOS. Could take a while.Trying to shift that debt!0 -
OK I feel in a bit more control now I have checked the accounts.
I have enough to see me through to pay day without taking any more from the account that is OD and that will allow me to clear that next month and get shot of it again. I wish I hadn't got it but I felt I needed it in case of emergency when we went on hol in April - still paying for it in July and none of the money, or v little was actually from the hol! Anyway - lesson learnt. I will reduce it to 0 and they give you a £10 buffer to everyone.
Things are looking ok elsewhere, I just need to keep reining it in and sticking to budgets.
