    Morning world

I see I have been missed :rotfl:

Well what a fantastic 2 weeks off work I have had. Lovely to get to spend it with the kids and hubby. Had a truly amazing time and I am feeling very sad at coming back to work. I so wish I could work from home, be my own boss and so on. In time maybe!

Now to the finances! Or lack of! Basically I underestimated how much a BBQ, party and 2 weeks off work would cost me and am now truly skint! I haven't met this month's target but am not going to let it get me down. I will keep chipping away and every penny spent will be explained as to why!

I've brought packed lunch in and have tea ready. Today I will spend £1.09 on a blooming letter charge that someone's posted which they didn't pay enough for. Apart from that I won't be spending a penny.

I also have tea ready for tomorrow and will make Wednesday's tomorrow night - trying to be organised and save money, planning in advance still.

So the plan now is to not spend anything that isn't budgetted for until I have got myself back to where I was a couple of months ago. Also ebay :)

22 pay days to go until I make my last payments. It will be 21 come Monday :) Wow the time is going past quickly - my only worry is that it will continue to once DF! lol.

Today I need fuel. I will put £20 in and start again on Monday with next month's allowance. I normally pop to Aldi on a Thurs however this week I may not need to as I am using home grown lettuce and haven't got through the rest of the things, plus HM bread is still being made so no need to buy bread :). Hopefully I can last until Sunday when I will go for next week's packed lunch items.

Tea tonight is made - just need to warm it up - makes it so much easier. Tea tomorrow will be omlettes as I am making a concious effort to use the chickens eggs in out weekly meals rather than just an addition to something. Thursday may be cottage pie but also maybe something else :D

I need to check the forecast for the weekend as wonder if I will be ble to get my washing out!

    Morning world :)

Still counting down and things still going well for this morning at least :D

£1.46 to debt. Pay day on Monday so will be able to pay a bigger chunk off then.

Last night tea was ready in minutes as it was all done before hand, that makes life so much easier. Tonight is egg night so we will be having omlettes filled with whatever you want from what I have :p Will do bananas and custard for afterwards so everyone feels full although saying that....omlettes are very filling I find. So a NSD today is on the cards.

Tomorrow I will pay the milk man but that's from budget so not a big deal. Apart from that I don't plan on spending as I think I can stretch 2 more packed lunches from the fridge/pantry contents. I'll make a loaf too. If there's anything left then I may do pizza's for the kids on Friday - HM of course. We shall see.

I feel like I can make it to the end of the week but then I remind myself we have to do it all over again next week and every week after that! It makes it all that more important to get this debt paid off so we can move to a farm, get our animals and live that good life we yearn for. We have a lovely happy life now so I am not complaining. It's nice to have a dream though isn't it?

Kids need jeans this month as they are both too big for their current pair so I will use the £20 I budget for them a month to buy a pair each. My DS needs a new pair of trainers too - I think the shoe shop has a sale on so I will have a look there. If I can get all 3 for £20 now that would be good :)

Or from the profits of some ebay sales. Hmmm thinking......

66p to the credit card :) so that's another 66p they can't charge me interest on. Better than nothing.

Well today I am busy at work as usual and patiently waiting for pay day to arrive. I have joined the GC for the coming month as I am determined to stick to my £150 budget. That includes meat, DS's nappies and wipes plus toothpaste, loo roll and so on.

I will keep posting on there but I'll also keep a running total on here. Actual challenge for me starts monday.

Tight month next month - looking forward to it.

    Morning World :T

I am SO pleased it is pay day finally. It's been a long time coming this month. That also means I am 1 month closer to being DF! Woop woop!

Soon it will be in the 5 hundreds. Oh I can't wait to start saving for the dream life.......

Right so this month is a strict one. £150 food budget, spent £21 on meat so far so £129 left. Visiting Aldi tonight so will spent a bit in there but only for the coming week's lunches and tea extras. I will visit the farm shop on Saturday so will pick up veg there.

I am about to pay the immediate bills and see where I am after last month's extra spends. I reckon it'll take me 3 months to get back to where I was - all for 1 month of over spending. Not worrying though - I will sort it!

    Back soon

I am sub 6k on my 0% loan (I don't mention much about this as it'll be the last to go but any sub k mark needs a mention!) so I am pleased :)

My new statement isn't through for the new combined cc so I have to wait for that.

All owings are paid up and I just have this extra spend from last month to sort out. I reckon I will be 500 owing this month on OD. I will close it out again when it's gone (I opened it to go abroad in case of emergency then ended up using it!!!!).

I have my shopping list for Aldi tonight so will get just what's required.

I am also going to start a list off for things I would like to do when DF. First thing is my family tree and horse riding lessons again. I may add this into first post as something else to work towards.

Almost under 600 days - that will be on 3rd Aug which given how quickly the days are going will be here in no time!

So far so good this month (only 2 days in tho lol). Planning on buying nothing other than budgetted items.
