Due to the vile weather conditions, we have ordered a Chinese takeaway, as there is always too much food, would it be possible to freeze the leftovers to enjoy at a later date?

I never give it a chance to find out. I am usually caught eating special fried rice and sweet and sour pork for breakfast the day afterOrganised people are just too lazy to look for things

It depends on quite what it is - but I've found that most chinese (and indian) take aways will freeze ok.

Ive often frozen left over takeaways (chinese and indian food) - just make sure you cook it well once defrosted, and that its pipping hot all the way through when you re heat it.0

Thanks everyone, there should be some chicken and pineapple, duck, and chicken fried rice leftovers. They come in plastic tubs with lids on, will these be ok to put in the freezer when the food is cold? With Love From The Mistress xx
