I've never been brave enough to eat left over curry (I always have chicken).

Don't laugh, but I like to eat leftover curry on a white bread sarnie, the next day. Yum!

er - I have been known to microwave ALL leftovers from a takeaway for lunch the next day! in my view the curry tastes better and even chow mein is palatable. if there are any leftovers then they go in the fridge and get dinged the next day. I dont keep them longer than lunchtime tbh. and never had any tummy probs from that.

    Hi,

We had HEAPS of sauce from a take away curry left over last week, so we froze it.

I've taken it out to defrost for tonight, but am having second thoughts about eating it. There's no meat in it, but still....

Do you think it will be ok?

It will be fine as long as you reheat it thoroughly :D

I have done this a few times. I don't know whether the ingredients were previously frozen or not, but it was too delicious to throw away so I decided to take the risk. :D Naughty, I know. :o But I lived to tell the tale with no bad effects. Just make sure that the dish is defrosted properly and reheated until it's piping hot.
