You may have missed it but hothead claimed in another thread it was illegal for a company to charge anything they want. The beans example was his and dfh2012's evidence why this was true. It was quite entertaining till all his posts were deleted :)

  • Not mad on MacDonalds but use occasionally as they are (usually) quick. Will order Cheeseburger, Chips and diet coke, they often ask if I want that as a meal because it will be cheaper but why do they have to ask? If I order what they call a meal I will get exactly the same so why do I have to throw the word meal into the order. Apart from that I would only classify it as a snack but that's another matter!

Hello! Goater is off on one of his crusades. :rotfl:

Are you really too dense to see your very obvious mistake?

McDonalds is part of the Starbucks group of franchises anyway. It is just a scam.

If your talking about in the UK, only a handful of Starbucks stores are actually franchises, with the majority being owned by the group themselve.

I'd love to see where you got this info from though

How does that make it a scam?

They charge an inflated price by putting the McDonalds brand on the door and charging a ripoff when it is in fact just a rebranded Starbucks stock.

    it's spelt d-e-f-i-n-i-t-e-l-y
there - 'in or at that place'
    their - 'owned by them'
    they're - 'they are'
it's bought not brought (i just bought my chicken a suit from that new shop for £6.34)
