Right, whilst its a bit quiet, ive made a decision re our relocating!
We own the house we live in, its on for sale or rent. We also have a house that we rent out from when we moved previously. We have been looking at buying a new house and selling our current home.
Done loads of workings out and have decided we should move back into our old house.
Pros, no hassle! Great schools, beautiful area lots of ts!
Cons, small house no garage, but a loft we dont have in this house.
At mo we have 3 bathrooms and a toilet, all rooms are very spacious tiny garden tho and on an estate
Old house is a listed cottage but has a stream in the garden, no neighbours, 3 small bedroom, and i mean small! But the garden is neRly 2 acres between woodland. I used to keep chickens and ducks and breed them and sell at market. I had over 50 of each in houses that i made whilst massively pregnant! The children used to love it, they had a 12 ft trampoline and a park of their own. We had a log burner too and plenty of fallen trees around us to keep it going, im also very handy with a chain saw! We also have a septic tank so water was only £38 a year:T we pay £43 a mo th at mo:mad:
Taking everything into account we will save £600 a month on mortgage, utility bills and travel to T!
Not sure this is going to work but we love the house and location and we lived there for 6 yrs. y eldest at the moment has a huge bedroom with a dressing room that i made into a games room, and his own bathroom. He will have a box room but my argument is, he gets out of bed, sits on his gamer chair then crawls back to bed so he doesnt need the space!
Glad you take the travel to Ts into account - where is it - are you still going to be local?0 -

Afraid not! We moved from shropshire, stomping ground of grumpy, as oh got a promotion. In dec he won retail manager of the year:T which came with another promotion, believe it or not, not far from where we came from. He will have a few more miles to travel than here but will get there quicker, i di miss motorways!
Old house is in a village called coalbrookdale and overlooks the ironbridge gorge. Its a unesco thingy of interest, hence the listed building.
My hope for the future would be that we would get planning on the field so we can build a new sympathetic house that suits our needs.
There are plenty of ts but none have scanners! Please don't judge me. you couldn't handle half of what I've been through.0 -

Sounds more likely a store to be refurbished and the old stock is coming to that store.
Could be wrong though!! It does happen.......OCCASIONALLY!
Could be or Ive just had a thought....this particular store opened the end of Jan last year, wonder if they have birthday events planned? Never heard of it before but not many shiny new Ts near me:heart2:Life is not measured by the breaths we take, but by the moments that take our breath away.:heart2:0 -

speed scanning ......just how many penny items can you scan at self serve while the SA deals with a unexpected item in bagging area at till 4?
speed paying.......how fast can you pay - timed from last item to receipt in hand!
wombling (outdoor) ......how many receipts can you collect in gale force 5 ? avoid trolleys/security guards/other wombles/skateboarding teens
wombling (indoor) aka bin diving! You have 10 seconds - grab as many as you can........avoid other customers/trouts/the more vertically challenged of us should be allowed smaller bins as health and safety risk!
Security run around.......how many times can you get the security guard to follow you around the same aisle?! complete circles only!
Trolley fill- fill your trolley, off to price check scanner, scan all items, put all back on correct shelves as none were 1p!
Scanner count......how many trips can you make to the price check scanner in one visit?
Top shelf reach!......use of other customers/staff allowed (encouraged) but extra points for style whilst balancing on a trolley!
omg the things we do !
Trout fishing - how many 1p items you can self scan Before they realise and stop you0 -

Good luck with it all. It sounds like a beautiful location, although personally I might need to add an extra bathroom on so I could lie in my LUSH baths for ages!!0 -

No 1p chocs at my store
Whoopsies not fantastic either..
I did find a DTD.
http://direct.tesco.com/q/R.211-7316.aspx
BT Inspire 1500 Twin. SEL £55 - £25 off ended on 22/01/2012. Scanned and came up full price 79.97. So £50 DTD.
Didn't pick them up as I have no home phone so left them. 1 left @ Sta*rfoot (I moved them behind the next product on the shelf, so just check behind them and they're there).
They were the only item that had the 22/01/2012 SEL in the electrical range, rest were 24/01/2012 so possibly could have been overlooked in other stores too.
Purple box - b/c ending 48220
