Not watching the programme (don't have a tv in this room and rarely go in the room the tv is in) but I used to spend £150++ on food for 2 of us until I started properly reading MSE and seeing what others did, I guess I still spend over £80 a week for 2 of us as I'm such a fussy eater but thats almost halved :)

I've been to T's today for the first time in ages. Scanner was working:) so I went in search of 1p items. Only thing I found was cadbury christmas tree decorations. They had 24 on a clip strip. I say they 'had', because I bought them all:D

debsjc, I'm lovin' your wombling stories:D I do a lot of wombling in boots, but rarely in tesco. I can never seem to remember. I'm usually too busy searching for 1p items that I forget to womble! must try harder!

    Superscrimpers on ch4 now!

I like the washing machine tip, and the 20p to check tyre tread.

There is a £4 coupon for nature babycare nappies on Before I Shop and they are only £3.75 in Mr T's...

Thanks for this, it says I've already clicked through and printed this coupon, when I havent. Any chance someone knows how I can still get a coupon?

Oh 1p chocs! remember the 1p haloween ones just before Christmas, went down a treat at the Christmas fair in a Christmassy bag!! lol

May I ask if people are finding them in the seasonal isle with the last of the crimble reductions, or hidden with all the ripped packages and dinted tins?..Theres still a sealed box of 'Little miss scary' haloween packs of sweets on the top shelf at my extra!! Bet they are out of date now, and probably gone off 1p to 'item not recognised' after all this time! Cant grumble though, as we did get a nice amount of caramel heads and Shrek jellies and choc lollies at the time!

Mum used to text me and tell me internet wouldn't come on she had switched netbook on and thought internet automatically appeared no matter how many times i told her to press start internet  :rotfl:. Then she would get annoyed if she could not find page she wanted , so text again asking me why ? :rotfl::rotfl:.
Now i just have to cope with her mobile phone being stupid that normally doesnt work because battery's dead. :rotfl::rotfl:

Can't see your mum keeping up with chat on here :D

Oh please don't, I've been with her all afternoon, routers set up,she's got the laptop but Sky have'nt done what they need to do yet but it should be all live tomorrow. So today we've learnt how to switch the lappie on and off, and how to use a mouse:T:T:TBut she pulled the lead out of the lappie and said I don't use the lappie plugged in do I because you said we were going wireless:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

Sorry if it's already been mentioned as I haven't had time to catch up.
I was in F0rmby today and found a 1p Toy Story 'lucky bag' on a clip strip . It was in the shape of a boot and has 'sweets games and surprises' on the front. B/C ending 043915 the BBD was 31/07/2013 :j
