I should probably be putting this on another thread :D but Airwick Aquamist 345ml Cool Linen half price to £1.50 tomorrow and a £1.00 coupon on coupon thread too...says it excludes aerosols but strictly speaking this isn't an aerosol so I will try tomorrow and see!

    :j

Handy for upping the minimum spend (a bit) for the £5 off £40 too!
:) Learn from the past, enjoy and appreciate the present and work to make your future the best it can possibly be :)

    And get lots of glitches!

Please don't judge me. you couldn't handle half of what I've been through.
  • OMG loads to catch up on.

Yay OH back from Miami. I have no idea how single parents manage it but I certainly have a lot more grey hairs from being on my own with the kids last week.

Hi HC, hope you enjoyed your bus ride home and looking forward to an update on the diet. Shoes more comfy yet?

Sharon-P – that’s fantastic news. Go an treat yourself hun, you deserve it after all the stress of clearing debts, which you many not have had if they had paid you the correct amount in the first place. Perhaps a few hundred lots of 1p gold coins from Ts lol

Fudge2, T bargains master, big hugs. I read your recent post and it made me quite sad. I hate how cruel life can be sometimes, especially to those that least deserve it.

bensonsmum, Happy Birthday to your FIL, hope you’ve all had a brilliant day.

Frequent, hope everything goes smoothly with the decorating this week.

3Dogs – big hugs for all of you. Lets raise our glasses to absent friends, long may they live on in our memories. Also lovely to hear about your hols with fellow MSEers. Makes for perfect company as you can all chat about your bargains and be met with expressions of joy rather than boredom (which is what I normally get).

For anyone still ODing on lucazade shots, please feel free to pay me a visit, my house is a tip and could do with a good spring clean lol.

Mharzuk – hope your DD had a fantastic 17th birthday today.

FK – well done on the medal. You have fought hard in the isles of Ts to bring news of brilliant bargains, I salute you. Wishing you well too, hope you are feeling better soon hun.

Tailor-made Tescos! Stores will adapt product range and deals to suit affluence of the area – Take it they assume there will be no Asda, Sainsbobs, Morries, Lidl etc. in the more affluent areas then. Don’t think they have thought this one through too well.

Sclubruth – lovely to see your post, here’s to many a glitches/bargains coming your way.

Wool27 you are welcome to some of my excess weight if you want it lol

Hello to Barleysugar, lovely to see your post

Kadison, hope you have a lovely catch up with your friend.

Looby123 are you able to look at remortgaging now and move to just a repayment?

And before I forget, evening all, hope you have had a fantastic day and are enjoying your evening.

I think our MSE Olympic Games are sorted!......

speed scanning ......just how many penny items can you scan at self serve while the SA deals with a unexpected item in bagging area at till 4?

speed paying.......how fast can you pay - timed from last item to receipt in hand!

wombling (outdoor) ......how many receipts can you collect in gale force 5 ? avoid trolleys/security guards/other wombles/skateboarding teens

wombling (indoor) aka bin diving! You have 10 seconds - grab as many as you can........avoid other customers/trouts/the more vertically challenged of us should be allowed smaller bins as health and safety risk!

Security run around.......how many times can you get the security guard to follow you around the same aisle?! complete circles only!

Trolley fill- fill your trolley, off to price check scanner, scan all items, put all back on correct shelves as none were 1p!

Scanner count......how many trips can you make to the price check scanner in one visit?

Top shelf reach!......use of other customers/staff allowed (encouraged) but extra points for style whilst balancing on a trolley!

omg the things we do !

:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:Superb, loving speed scanning and bin diving!!!!

I forgot to mention earlier, I found the 2 of the 1p yellow Pooh Bear mugs today. :j

A couple of weeks ago I checked every store in the area for these, then these just appeared today. I would have hapily paid £1, but they scanned at 1p.

I also found a Pooh Bear cuddly toy in the box, but it came up 'item not found'
What will happen to those now, will Mr T reprogramme them back at full price?

thanks West is best.....only problem with that is that its only the remortgage which is interest only (the actual mortgage is repayment)...so its an additional £20k borrowing on the mortgage...if we overpaid, the overpayments would go straight to the actual original mortgage (which is still good), and wouldnt hit the 'second' mortgage...and they both finish at the same time so need to have a rethink!! Changing it isnt an option for a long time, and to be fair we do have many years before it needs to be paid....it just really alarmed me when i opened the statement!!

Think I'll have to start to browse the whole of MSE not just the grabbit section in order to save £20k !!! :)

Sorry, hun, but as someone who used to work in matters financial this doesn't necessarily sound right.

If part of mortgage is repayment and interest and part is interest only I'd expect you to have 2 discrete loan amounts and you should be able to specify which one any additional repayments go against. Please talk to your lender and clarify the situation. You could also think about transferring at least part of the interest only portion of the loan to interest and repayment. And please, everybody, never ever sign documents without being clear what you're entering into. Not wanting to preach just don't want all you good peeps to get burned. These things are important. :A

If you need any advice, pl feel free to pm me.
    Hope is not a strategy.
