I think our MSE Olympic Games are sorted!......

speed scanning ......just how many penny items can you scan at self serve while the SA deals with a unexpected item in bagging area at till 4?

speed paying.......how fast can you pay - timed from last item to receipt in hand!

wombling (outdoor) ......how many receipts can you collect in gale force 5 ? avoid trolleys/security guards/other wombles/skateboarding teens

wombling (indoor) aka bin diving! You have 10 seconds - grab as many as you can........avoid other customers/trouts/the more vertically challenged of us should be allowed smaller bins as health and safety risk!

Security run around.......how many times can you get the security guard to follow you around the same aisle?! complete circles only!

Trolley fill- fill your trolley, off to price check scanner, scan all items, put all back on correct shelves as none were 1p!

Scanner count......how many trips can you make to the price check scanner in one visit?

Top shelf reach!......use of other customers/staff allowed (encouraged) but extra points for style whilst balancing on a trolley!

omg the things we do !

this really does sound so much fun :rotfl::rotfl: regarding the top shelf reach can we use children to climb the shelf to get the last item :o (obviously not some random child though)

  • Just a quick question, does anyone know if there are new electrical reductions tomorrow? My brother just reported in from my local extra saying he overheard part of a conversation on the shift change at the electrical desk. One said to the other " you wanna see the list of bargains coming in tonight.......I'll have a good look through it all and leave you over some stuff". Last time he heard a conversation like this was at the start of the silly prices and he managed to get a cheap netbook! Wonder if the direct warehouse has had a clearout again....may have to have a scanning session in the morning

Right all you budding doctors, just got off the phone with the quack....

h confirmed bloodwork was all good showing liver and kidney function good, thyroid good and sugar levels ok. He said the xray was perfectly normal. He did say the ECG was fine but showed a left axis deviation. He said this was of no clinical significance.....a quick google doesn't exactly confirm that though! lol.

He did say he'd neglected to ask for a cholesterol test and should get that done and then go back to see him. Hmmmm.

as far as my ECG reading goes it can be numerous reasons but if he said it was fine then i wouldnt worry.... if i were you i would see if you can get an heart check up at your doctors every year and YOU keep a copy of the readings (ecg's) so they can be looked at and compared too for any changes (or if u ever have to call an ambulance, the crew can look at them and see what they were at each given time and can see if there has been any changes)....

LAD can be due to simple things like high blood pressure, pregnancy or just that your muscle on the left of the heart is larger than the muscle on your right
