Caz that's a lovely sentiment xx
I always think of the end of watership down, Hazel is tired and the black rabbit asks him to come and join him and run and play forever, he lies down and dies, then suddenly he's young again, bounding along like he did when he was young.

That's how I like to see my animals, being called to some greater good somewhere xxxI think your finger slipped and your username should read 666.
I don't see you fitting in here.....Byeeeee!

Well, nipped into town again today. Almost tried the boots glitch as I found the shots, but had problems finding more than 2 vitamins, glad I didnt if the glitch has been fixed!
Had a look at what was left in the Boots 75% sale, not much really, except loads of black oval pcture frames and Jamies O's home made burger bowls!
I know all you lot rave about the boots sale (and Im sure it was much better yesterday) but do boots ever do further reductions? (Im a real tight !!! aint I!)
Just thinking, if people were going to buy these items they would have by now, and where theres still a large amount of one particular item, would they eventually reduce further?
Got lots of packs of kids 'make your own cards' and 'make your own fairy' for 20p down from £2.99 from Clintons (they are adding new things every day, and reducing all the time!) which will be fantastic for a crafty table at our next Christmas Fair.
Also got several packs of cards (10p a pack) from M&S (Thought they would go rather well with all the 2p asda Christmas stuff, another stall sorted!
last yr i got a few bits in the boots 90% sale lol
think these days the vultures have already swept the 75%, we'll be lucky if there's even carp left for the 90% sale
I wish people would calm down and play the waiting game!!!
I propose a new motion........................
that we resist buying T's reduced clip strip and post xmas stock UNTIL it's 1p
(I saw candy canes today in T's and all i could think of was they are not worth 20p, i'll wait for them to go to 1p lol!!:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:)GRATITUDE WHEN GIVEN, PATIENCE WHEN DENIED

To celebrate Chinese New Year (23rd Jan), Tesco has put up the same deal they did last year. The meals themselves aren't bad (although being Chinese myself, I have to unashamedly eat this due to my committments as a student). The offer dates are: (18/1/2012) until 7/2/2012 So starting tomorrow but online buyers can already purchase for delivery tomorrow (18th). Considering a normal 'Main Course' is around £3.35, to get 2 of them and 2 side dishes (around £2.50 - £3.50 each) is damn good value. The 'Main Course' (lol) are: Tesco Ken Hom's Spare Ribs 400G Tesco Ken Hom's Crispy Chilli Prawns 300G Tesco Ken Hom's Sweet And Sour Chicken 350G Tesco Ken Hom's Chicken And Cashew Nuts 350G Tesco Ken Hom's Chicken And Mushrooms 350G Tesco Ken Hom's Crispy Sweet And Sour Chicken 400 Tesco Ken Hom's Crispy Chilli Beef 250G Tesco Ken Hom's Chicken And Blackbean 350G Side Dishes: Tesco Ken Hom's Egg Fried Rice 250G Tesco Ken Hom's Chicken Spring Rolls 270G Tesco Ken Hom's Vegetable Spring Rolls 270G Tesco Ken Hom's 18 Piece Chinese Selection 367G Some are region specific though I think, so not all you will find in your local store.

Save for later
I was just going to post about this as I bought this deal last night but searched through and found your post JJ.
I bought the vegetable spring rolls, the 18 piece Chinese selection and 2 of the sweet and sour chicken. My DH doesn't eat what he calls 'foreign muck', so it's all mine. I had one of the sweet and sour chicken meals last night with a Birds Eye rice fusions and it was very tasty. Tonight I managed to eat all 18 pieces of the Chinese selection which I also enjoyed. It's amazing value for money and the portions are quite large.0 -
All mine fitted into one basket but I did have to help someone (no names) to ferry all thier baskets to the till and I did feel like a pack horse by the time all the transactions were finished. Transactions are plural because there were lots of extra points tokens being used for spending £25 and of course a No 7 voucher for each one too
Will you be caught up by next week? I think Monday or Tuesday seems to be the best choice at the moment to fit in with the workers (kandfsmum) so let me know if either of those days suit you, I think we will need to provide some shoulders for Blodynurse
Actually I shouldn't complain - I had to get the SA to help me out to the car with my stash and then I had the cheek to go back in again - DS told the next SA that shopping with Mummy was boringwhoops. Not sure about next week - I'll check diary at work tomorrow and PM you

TBH I was standing in Boots yesterday thinking with some things, I wouldn't pay 1/4 of the original price let alone the full price, some things are SUCH a rip-off, I reckon people are getting better at maths and can work this out, therefore more gets left for the sales! No Buying Unnecessary Toiletries 2023

Hi there I am relatively new to the forum and found this thread a couple of days ago - just wanted to say hello and offer cyber hugs to 3dogs and Blondynurse - I am sat with tears in my eyes as I write this and remembering the last walk I took with one of my best friends five years ago, it was one of the saddest days ever but in my heart I knew I had to make that decision because I loved him and didn't want him to suffer.
Blondynurse I am so glad you told your children - my mum never told me that my childhood best friend was going they had the dog (Timmy) before I was born so he was like my brother and I came home from school when I was 13 to find him gone and no chance of saying a goodbye
I am in the north east and never seem to find many bargains but if I find any I will definitely report them on here0
