Awwww 3 Dogs I will be thinking of you tomorrow. Even when you know it's the kindest thing to do, it's so hard when the time comes to say goodbye. (((hugs))))
My husband says he will leave me if I don't stop shopping......... God I will miss that man.
  • Just wanted to say that zoso is my DS1. He's not technically onMSE so if you'd rather he not play then I'll let him know.
TBH I hadn't realised he still played now he is back at uni. He only joined as he saw me play and fancied joining in.
Off to bed now so goodnight folks.

    It's only a game

As soon as there is a glitch or another load of 4p clothes, cheap electricals or 1p clipstrips, I would imagine the thread will go back to how it was.
I think people are just keeping it going with the chat and recipes etc. while it's quiet.
I know the bargains are the main reason for the thread being here, but I know I'm not bored with it as it is at the mo.
I like the more "social" aspect to it. It's lovely.
It's like belonging to the WI or something like that .....with the odd (and odd being the operative word here ;)) bloke thrown in for good measure!
I just hope when the glitches start rolling in, we'll still have time to chat, swap recipes etc. :)

we soooo need a decent glitch to liven up the place,i have got the january blues an have lost my tesco mojo :o

I like the Asda black ones too and their wine gums are definitely harder than tesco's.
Sainsbobs are softer too, but a bit tasteless.
It's only Asda that have the liquorice black ones.

That answers my question nicely :j :j 3Dogs makes a note in the Asda section of her notebook that their gums have proper black ones in :D

I've been ages catching up, ploughing through the Boots stuff ...... I'm not complaining, loving everyones bargains

Fudge_Cake - glad you got the right advice and I see that little doggie seems better now :D

debsjc - terrible thing to happen to parents on their holiday, made much worse when it's irreplaceable items like the engagement ring :(

Snap-ant - I loved the harder questions on the quiz yesterday - I got 4th place, my best placing so far :j :j

Lots of other ((hugs)) and :j :j as appropriate

Mr 3Dogs went for his first physio session today for his sciatica and the physiotherapist was amazed that, despite having back problems since the age of 18 when he fell off a ladder, he has never had an x-ray of his back  She was also puzzled as the pain is on extension rather than the normal compression. He has some gentle exercises to do and has another appointment for next Wednesday

The vet rang with the results of our eldest Bonnie's blood tests from last week ............ and it is not looking very good, with kidney count high, liver count fairly high, and cholestrol a little high, which points to renal/kidney disease or adrenal disease/cushing disease - I have made an appointment to see the same vet for 5pm tomorrow to discuss these results, but we have talked about it and really don't want to put Bonnie through any more, so will be going knowing that I will probably not be bringing her home :(:(:( It's all about her quality of life, not keeping her alive to be with us :(:( she's 16 years old, showing it, but has had a good life :)

    Thank you

I hope things go OK at the vets. I went through very similar with my lovely Birman cat and kidney failure at age 17, it's never easy.

I also used to leap onto the bed after I turned my light out in case hands grabbed my ankles.

    :)

I done this every night!! Pleaded with my Mum to block under the bed so nothing could grab at me.

I was also scared of spiders and tortured my dad every night to get any out of my room. I insisted that if my door was fully closed none could get back in. My Dad soon got fed up and left me all night to deal with one by myself, needless to say I tried my best to stay awake so the spider didn't crawl all over me but it quickly cured me of my fear thank goodness :)
