I remember playing rat tat ginger...one day a group of us knocked on a door, ran away and hid around the corner. no one answered so we knocked again, this time the door was opened before we could run and a bucket of water was thrown at us..:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl: at least it was summer so we dried quickly, no explaining to parents why we wet..:rotfl::rotfl:

We used to call it something like knicky knocky dare do. Great thing with many with childhood games is that it's a verbal tradition in terms of what it's called and each generation/area has there own interpretation. Long may it go on.... the rich tapestry of childhood life:)

  • Morning :hello:

Well I had every intention of joining the masses at the Boots sale and my blooming alarm didn't go off!!!:mad::mad: And when I did (eventually!!) wake up, my Mum's taken my car!!!:eek:

Can any lovely Bristolians please tell me if they've been to any Boots stores this morning and what sort of availability/demand there was? I was really hoping to get some of the Lindt Santa's too :p

Hope all's well and the Bootser's had plenty of fun going 'wild in the aisles' ;):rotfl:

    Will just catch up :A

Just had a text from my parents who are on holiday in Tenerife. They have had all their cash, my mums cards and mums jewellery stolen from the hotel room (and it was locked inside a case)
The jewellery is the worst thing, they took her engagement ring and other sentimental items. :(

I'm so upset and angry that people could do that. I've travelled all round the world and never had anything stolen, even in notorious places like Brazil, and this happends in tenerife.

so sorry to hear this, some people really are the lowest of the low
