Just had a text from my parents who are on holiday in Tenerife. They have had all their cash, my mums cards and mums jewellery stolen from the hotel room (and it was locked inside a case)
The jewellery is the worst thing, they took her engagement ring and other sentimental items.

I'm so upset and angry that people could do that. I've travelled all round the world and never had anything stolen, even in notorious places like Brazil, and this happends in tenerife.

I will just add before going back to catching up for a bit that I have been most touched by the affection and support shown by all the 'elite 11+' for our friend HappyChappy84. :T :T

As a Moderator and Admin on a couple of 'techie' boards on the net I regularly see first hand 'disciplinary' cases like this. I know that lifetime bans must always be the very, very last resort. I'm quite shocked to see that the forum team have decided a lifetime ban is appropriate in Happy's case, especially given of some of the abuse I see posted (over and over again) by the same old faces in some of the other areas of the board; the Benefits, Praise and Vents, and Discussion Time boards, in particular.

Come on, Forum Team, same rules for all, please. Let the young fella back on the board.

Come back soon, HC, you're sorely missed by many.

I miss the open fire of our getaway in Anglesey. A roaring fire that we made toast on too! Loved the smoky smell that lingered in the home and on our clothes. Really comforting somehow.

Anyway I REALLY am going off to sleep now.

there is nothing nicer than a real fire it is our only source of heating
though chopping the logs is hard work it is worth it free heating:T
incidently i am of to Anglesey in a while hopefully the rain will stop ..

Issyc...Boots in the town with the castle still have quite a lot left on the shelves and also had more boxes of stuff to put out..I left there about 10am...May be of help to you..x
