Loving the look of the lemon drizzle cake - thanks for the recipe purdita and here's the one for the malt loaf
    Malt loaf

    3 weetabix
    4oz sugar
    4oz raisins or sultanas
1 mug of hot black tea
    2 eggs
    4oz SR flour
    2oz porridge oats

Put weetabix, sugar & raisins in a bowl. Add mug of tea. Leave to soak until cold. Stir in 2 eggs, stir again and add the flour and porridge oats. Mix well and tip into a greased loaf tin. Bake at 180, check after 25 mins, may take longer. Enjoy!
Mine took closer to 35 mins but it's soooo cold in my kitchen I always think that affects cooking times and the oven prob wasn't warmed up enough too lol
    Xx

Seems to have been some dramatic whoopsies in prescot but all gone by the time I got there at 7.15.....they must do em early up here.

Anyway I found 2 of the old style thomas the tank fleeces and one of the old cars ones...scanned at 2.50 and 4.00 so left those at the front nice and obvious if anyone wants to grab them. Also found an early tinkerbell one but that was 40p so is coming home with me! Also found the sarah parker wipes but dont scan at 1p....they scan at 31p ?!?!? Tucked those behond the fleeces if anyone wants those too.

That's because it's her friend Sarah Smith's that scan at 1p :rotfl:

Who watches Sex in the City then?
Are we thinking Sarah Jessica Parker here by any chance?? :D
My husband says he will leave me if I don't stop shopping......... God I will miss that man.

Oh dear, I wish it was better news for you all. If he does get transferred to Frenchay, it will be entirely for the right reasons. Re the docs and scans- i know its scary but it is procedure for them to get everything checked with a consultant before passing news on, in case of incorrect info being given out. Sadly, consultants arent always available when you need them to be, as they are often in theatre or clinic, but they will see it. Dont let your OH take him home until he has at least been seen by the therapists- he will need assessment as to how he will manage when he does go home, and for that reason, i think its important that your OH is present, given the confusion that your FIL has already presented with.

If I can help in anyway, please feel free to PM me. I dont work in neuro but do know people who do xx

I'm too cold to go back out again now :-(

Thank you so much might just take you up on that xxxxx
