My nearest branch of bank is 45 mins drive away. it has just taken me 2 hours though to cash some cheques.
I want to switch but all my direct payments, standing orders etc are all set up with them so if we switched our banks to one with a local branch, would I have to manually let everyone know or do they do everything for you.
I think that natwest are currently offering £100 to switch. At least, that is what the advert said in their window this morning.
i think but not 100% that the banks can do all this for you, i remember changing a few years back and just signed one form and they did the rest so might be worth asking in the bank you want to change to.0 -

Again, it's probably better I can't actually see how much I've spent :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
Ah is that not worse, now he see what you have actually spent!!!:eek:0 -
Scrums
I've been getting "whoopies" for nearly 18 years now and i'm not even in my mid 30's. Worked in a supermarket as a student so quickly clocked onto the flaws of their IT systems (J Sainsbury).
/QUOTE]
you young'uns probably don't remember the good old days(?) but it was Sainsburys that started this. In the days before IT systems and 24/7 shopping it was all about quality. Before Sainsbury became a national name they traded on quality and used to clear all their meat products at the end of the week when opening hours at weekends were limited. University students were those usually to be found in the good natured "scrums"that ensued in those days. Ah just reminiscing(Artha exits stage left, sighing and fondly remembering "jumpers for goalposts" etc.. silly old fool!)

Well if you do can anyone point me in the direction of the balls she put sweets on for her table decorations as i actually liked this idea and thought it would be good for my LOs birthday and then if he works i will do it for my wedding!
