    I was explaining to my friend what I do when wombling, just before they left her 4 yr old lad hugged me and said "Auntie, next time you go wobbling around the carpark can I come with you?" Time for a diet me thinks :(
    Anyone can cuddle but only the Welsh can cwtch :)

    Hmm. Just thought. I've been invited round to a friends on Saturday so I will make mini smoked salmon tartlets either Friday or Saturday to take. Will post piccies. They are EXTREMELY cheap and EXTREMELY easy and EXTREMELY tasty!!!

    These mini tartlets sound fab - is the pastry still dtd glitching at mr t - wasn't in the right frame of mind to torment mr t this week also knew I have a week off this week so will hit him hard again lol

    Off to put on my mushy peas, check my whoopsied silverside in the slow cooker and make some scones...need to order a mattress for little meerkats bed today...anyone know of any good offers on decent mattresses?

  • Did my main shop in mr A - using up a £5 off £40 shop & a wombled PG voucher
    Asda was cheaper - YAY.:j

    Goodfellows frozen deep pan pizza T's 2.70 A's 1.00
    I got cheese, peperoni & Meat feast , one is at £1.80 but sorry can't remeber which it was

    8oz plain flour
    3oz sugar
    4oz "fat" I use half salted butter and half lard - can use all butter if preferred
    ½ tsp baking powder
    pinch nutmeg
    2oz currants
    1 egg
    splash of milk if needed

    Rub the fat and flour together as if making pastry so you get the breadcrumb stage
    Chuck rest of dry ingredients in
    add the egg to form a soft dough (use milk if too dry)
    Roll out on a floured board
    cut into circles (I use a drinking glass)
    pop onto a heated bakestone for 2-3 mins per side
    Use a non stick frying pan instead of a bakestone
    Place on a wire rack to cool and sprinkle with sugar

    Its on the first page of the printable coupons page :) but its not for 36's only for 24/48/72's
