Talking of baking, I have 4 peaches that are turning but not going soft at the same time so I need to use them up in baking. Does anyone have any ideas please??

How about making peach jam if you have a breadmaker. Should make about a jar and a bit hth:)

FloFlo you can't expect me to go out there now that the crowd have seen the new Katherine Jenkins perform!! How are they ever gonna take me seriously when I start belting out Whitney now? I'll be heckled, I'll be booed off stage! Get me a triple vodka NOW!

That'd be nice. Or if you don't feel like baking just pop em in a pan with a good knob of butter and brown sugar until soft and caramelised.

Serve hot with a scoop of icecream or custard or better yet, on the top of a piece of French toast!!

Great ideas, caramelising in a pan will be much quicker than in the oven too, always a bonus ;) I think they're going to have to go in a cake though or similar as there's already brown patches I'll have to cut out. But french toast...mmmmmmmmmmmm! Haven't had any for a long time! :)

Well I saw 2 young girls doing a 'destressed Amy Winehouse' look this evening ... one was wearing a pair of those tights that have a knicker and suspender belt look ... and a bra. That's it... nothing else!! Oh sorry she had a belt!

I mean in this weather as well! :rotfl:

:eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek: Centre of Bristol on a Friday or Saturday night, I'm embarassed enough just watching them totter along! A couple of days after Xmas I was in Bristol with friends and the majority of girls we saw, you couldn't say they were wearing clothes and were probably no older than 17. This was at 7:30pm!

Guess I'm gonna have to put the kettle on myself. Do I still have to pay if I make it? I have some redbush in my handbag and a small bottle if soya too!
