Don't think I know him but i don't often go at weekends, can't be as bad as Rob or the former manager Mark. Is the scanner working yet ?
I am not sure about the scanner, wasn't working last time I checked, was before xmas though. Find the staff at Ivybridge much more pleasant to go to (and my neice works in 0sterley:eek:), however no scanner as far as I know, although a friend of mine said there was one in there, down the cereal, I have yet to find it though!.

Ohhh where did you go? Last outlet I was in (Junction 1) was like a ghost town.

Banbridge Caz, I find them much better than Junction 1, though a few of the shops have disappeared since I was last there in the summer. But usually find loads of bargains. We got there as it opened at 1 today and it was quiet but when we were leaving at 4.30 it was packed...oh and if you ever go, head to the visitor centre first and they give you a booklet of discount vouchers, DD got 10% off in both Gap and Nike with these today too

    Hello!

Lovely to meet a fellow MSE bargain hunter this morning I'm not alone yay!

I went on to 4b3rd4re afterwards then, a few things in there got Tressemme shampoo big bottle for £1.07 but whoopsies dreadful , then went to M3rthyr...won't bother again I got 1 pack of Sarah Smith wipes through SS then I lost my perfect cleans,1p air freshener and iron pads all came up "recalled item":(...not much else there to speak off so came home after that!

If anyone's going to M3rthyr soon - don't hold your breath with the 1p items I think they are recalling most of them.:(

Would have looked for a DTD but was too tired by then lol!

I can never get anything from m3rthyr, they are really ontop of the 1p stuff i got the trays taken off me and harrys nuts there

i love him too...never fails to make me howl...even in the John Smiths adverts :rotfl: however, although our tickets gave a good view, tbh I dont think I'd aim to sit so close again...his voice was very muffled as we were sat so close to the huge speakers at the front!

Did he do the leotard & guitar thing to Queen at the end..wiith all the fireworks/partypoppers? They scared the s h i t out of me when they came flying into the crowd, but was faf watching him dodgy the fire bits from the fireworks!!! :rotfl:

Yes the end of the show was a real stormer, wasn't expecting it at all.:D

We had tickets that included meal and free bar before show, so I had had a few glasses of wine and was shouting and singing like a good un throughout the show.

We also saw Alan Carr a few weeks a go and he was good but peter Kay just pipped him overall.

  • Evening all,

Haven't been able to keep up for a while so i have read just random pages. I had over 300 pages to catch up on - it would just be mission impossible for me.
A bit late but Happy new year everyone.
Congratulations sunshinestar on new baby - i hope she is doing well.
I have been keeping an eye on a kung-fu panda portable dvd player it's bright yellow it was £79.99 down to £49.99 so hopefully it will go down further. I have been trying to get the 1p toilet rolls, but keep getting trouted - could someone please buy them and take them away from temptation and prevent me from any further embarrassment they are in Lu*g*n. There are also some 6 person tents there for about £37 if anyone is interested and some chuggington repair sheds for £6.
