I'm knackered too....so will leave it to the night shift. Night night x

Oh FK....keep an eye on the Bombadier gift sets....saw loads of these today and I heard them moaning that they'll never shift 'em all.
Don't know what it's like though.....(or even what it is TBH!!)
My husband says he will leave me if I don't stop shopping......... God I will miss that man.
  • I was just wondering/hoping whether any of you West London peeps would like a challenge for tomorrow????:D
Went in to the 0sterley T's today and my little eyes lit right up!!!, In the chiller fridge mixed in with some big fat red shiny half price stickers, was lots (I mean lots) of unstickered pork joints, I picked up 2 (we eat this all the time). Anyway so as to stay under the radar a bit I got my mum to take to cs. Mum's not to hot on all this malarkey! but duly does as she is instructed (Yes, I really mean step by step instructions:eek:) Anyway girl on cs goes with mum to the sel, agrees right product comments "oh we will have to sort this out", and calls manager for authorisation. Manager comes over, tells mum "no, not the right product". Mum not sure what to do, comes back out to the car. I quickly rang HO, mum took phone back in to store with her like HO asked, and speaks to store manager, then mum again. Said to mum, yes i agree you have the right product, however we can't force the manager to do anything about it. Manager then basically called mum a liar over something or other, then said "You can either have a refund, or swap it for the stickered one:eek:.
Mum accepted her refund and left.
Now sorry after the long ramblings but...... For my mum, the queen of hagglers and bargaining etc... to say she was humiliated must have been quite bad:eek::eek::eek:.
So.... Would anyone here be brave enough to go and lighten Mr t's of his many unstickered piggies, if for no other reason then the manager was soooo up his own !!!!!, oh, and he said he was store manager, however HO said "he was just a duty manager:rotfl:). Please do share how you get on:T.

Sorry pps, to the person who also got the pork, sorry can't remember who:o. We had a pork joint today, (which I actually paid cold hard cash for:eek:) Was delicious:D

Gosh but you lot can blether!!

Just wanted to say thanks to everyone who helped me on the last thread with my question about 'marking' where i've read up to. I'll give some of those things a go and see if they work!

Re the posters whose pork wasn't very nice - the only fresh meat I buy from Mr T now is minced beef and occasionally chicken breasts. I've had so much meat from there go in the bin over the years that I just don't bother any more. I'd much rather go to the butcher or farm shop and buy much less meat, but at better quality. I only ever buy 'finest' cooked meats too, but that's because the other stuff doesn't have the red tractor on, and I won't buy anything that's not british and doesn't have the red tractor on. I try to do the same for fruit and veg too. It's definitely worht complaining to Mr T though, I have done in the past and had a full refund on the meat lots of times, with an apology (although i'm still waiting for a £12 refund for the last lot that was minging - think they need a nudge!!)

anyway, one more vodka and its amser gwely for me - nos da pawb, here's hoping for a good glitch tomorrow x
