:(:( That's rubbish...which store was it that gave you this fabulous service? Then I'll know to avoid them or really keep my eyes peeled! Was it the quality establishment in M3rthyr?Don't like them much as it is...
Nope it was the p0ntyp00l store. when i got the dtd last week for being overcharged that was the first time i had gone to that store after i was trouted big time there last october on a total innocent and legitimate overcharge, they were totally horrid i left the store that time nearly in tears and my dd upset as it happened over some pens she had wanted for school and my ds2 crying as we had been there so long his ice lollies had melted! I was treated like dirt there had my pens taken off me even though i had paid for them and the money i paid practically thrown at me, i complained to ho and sent about 6 emails and waited until christmas to get a crap apology and £10 gift card ( i thought that was quite insulting as the dtd should have been £12+ anyway)
I had vowed never to go there ever again, but my daughter had missed the school bus last week and i had to drive her down there to school so i thought i would just pop in.
Ggrrr all this has just make me hate that store even more!Hello my name is nahteb20 and i am a T's Glitch & Bargainaholic.......0 -

I bought "The Takeaway Secret" book the other day, and it looks fab. Tomorrows baking list is the basic curry sauce for t'freezer.
I would love to make my own naan's. I'm a fairly confident cook, and havent poisoned anyone yet, but there are some things that I am not that confident with. Yet....;)
I hope you manage to do something with the pretend chicken
There's a thread on the OS board about the takeaway secret and the recipes. There's pics too of the recipes, so you get an idea of what the finished meal will look like. I'd definitely reccommend the lamb doner(sp?):D

About to do Lalas trick of iron 10 then catch up but first, I need to know which razors people were saying were bad for cutting your legs to ribbons. I got some back in the DTD days but haven't used them so please please please tell me it's not the Venus Spa Breeze ones
Are the Venus Spa Breeze ones the ones with the soap(shaving soap) attached to the head of the Razor?
If so then they are also garbage as they do not shave closely at all because of the soap on them. I bought them, about £9 for 1 with 2 blades and although I used a voucher so they were not as expensive as that I would never again purchase them
Also subsequently sent off a complaint to Gillette about them and got sent a £10 voucher which bought some nice wee gift sets at Christmas.

it was Bic soleil i think, had them the same time as the honey shreddies, there was a £1 off coupon and they were on offer for £1.25 so only paid 25p and they are so not worth that!!!Hello my name is nahteb20 and i am a T's Glitch & Bargainaholic.......0 -

That is ridiculous, the whole point of DTD is T's policy because THEY have overcharged you! Why should you feel guilty for pointing it out and queuing up and then expecting them to follow their policy for a refund of DTD? It does say "Customer Service" above their head after all!
This a possibly the dictionary definition of "a trouting", not pleasant.:(
That store's too far away for me otherwise I would offer to come on a mission there with you for DTD trolley dash...they have brought it on themselves!!
On a weird random note - just switched on to LA Ink and OMG Kat Von D looks like Pete Burns twin sister:eek::eek::eek:Learn from the past, enjoy and appreciate the present and work to make your future the best it can possibly be
And get lots of glitches!0 -

I went to M*ryhill today for some basics and noticed on my trips down the aisles some Tony Bennett cd's - about 10 on a strip. Left them, as not really my cup of tea, but about 30mins later I thought I'd get one for the FIL....and guess what? All gone!!! So c'mon fess up, was it you Cookieraider?
;)
well half a dozen of them anyway, I did leave some on the strip :rotfl:- thought they'd be good to put in with Xmas cards for the family mext year. Also managed to get the dotty wipeclean tablecloth for 54p too - sorry took last one.
Best bargain I got in the last couple of days was actually at sainsbobs - pack of 12 vacuvin Christmas Wine glass markers - not with the xmas sale stuff but on a clipstrip with the crockery and glasses - 10p down from £3.50 :beer:0 -
Good night everyone.
Hope there's some good finds tomorrow.
Glad to see HC has partaken of the quiz this evening, even if he's pushed me yet further down the grid! lol
