sorry to quote myself but thought if anyone was interested then you might like an update.........
yesterday was told it was being investigated and would be called back so no call yesterday, she finally called me back today at 5.40pm to tell me she had investigated it and as far as the store is concerned they have paid the money to me but between the store and tescos bank it was decided it was a mistakeb as both transactions were made in the same minute and same amount so someone cancelled the second transaction!!!! so i have now got to go on a 40mile round trip back to the store again!! to finally have my payment re issued!

so i'm glad it is getting sorted but this has really got on my nerves. Ive spoke to HO 4 times, the store 5 times, my bank, visa and made the 40 mile round trip to the store and now ive got to go back to the store again!!

So anyone out there who gets dtd paid to them in 2 transactions for the difference always check that you have received the money!! I'm totally rubbish at checking my bank statements never checked before it was only after hearing mymerrywidow and her problem with the same thing and my hubby telling me to check mine that i realised! Makes you wonder how many other people have been ripped off by t's in this way????

:(:(:( That's rubbish...which store was it that gave you this fabulous service? Then I'll know to avoid them or really keep my eyes peeled! Was it the quality establishment in M3rthyr?Don't like them much as it is...
:) Learn from the past, enjoy and appreciate the present and work to make your future the best it can possibly be :)

    And get lots of glitches!

I'm gonna have to do something with it.

If I had a mincer, I'd mince the stuff.

I got all the stuff I needed too. I haven't got time for more shopping tomorrow. Was gonna make naans tomorrow. Now I won't. If I have to out again for chicken, I'll be even more behind. There'll be 2 of us now in our tiny kitchen. One doing curries and me baking.

I feel so inconvenienced, grrrr.

i would be very annoyed too  not sure whether i would be more  at having to get more supplies or sharing my kitchen!

I bought "The Takeaway Secret" book the other day, and it looks fab. Tomorrows baking list is the basic curry sauce for t'freezer.

I would love to make my own naan's. I'm a fairly confident cook, and havent poisoned anyone yet, but there are some things that I am not that confident with. Yet....;)

I hope you manage to do something with the pretend chicken :)

I had the loveliest surprise phonecall yesterday morning... A few months ago I bought a trampoline in the Direct glitch. It arrived minus one spring, so I emailed CS, who said they'd send a driver round with a new boxed trampoline and to remove a spring from it and seal box back up. Never took them up on it, but then our trampoline's frame got bent in the last storm and I emailed them again, asking if they'd mind if I removed more parts from the box seeing as how the contents of it'd be incomplete anyway after I took the spring (iykwim?).
A very nice Dundonian phoned me and offered a refund or a new trampoline sent to us once it comes back in stock. happy0064.gif
I'm so happy, now I won't need to find a giant hamster wheel for my 2yo to burn off energy happy0045.gif

Just to let you know that I've used the Melitta Anti Calc (1p) as a toilet cleaner. 2 tablets swished down with hot water and an hour or so later the loo came up clean!!
Also the demister pads were great for cleaning all the condensation off the inside of the house windows this morning.
Has any one got the barcode for the Dora duvet please?
and I too miss HC banter.

That's what i use mine for too! We don't have double glazing (stingy landlord confused0028.gif) and every morning there's tons of water on the windows.

About to do Lalas trick of iron 10 then catch up but first, I need to know which razors people were saying were bad for cutting your legs to ribbons. I got some back in the DTD days but haven't used them so please please please tell me it's not the Venus Spa Breeze ones :(
