I forgot to mention that I also popped in Lidl's earlier this evening to pick up some dog food (which has shot up in price )
I don't know if it's the same everywhere, but in the Torquay branch they had loads of stuff really reduced right down.
I got 2 pairs of very substantial slippers, with a proper thick rubber sole for £1 each.
They also had loads of undies which actually looked pretty good......the tummy control long shorts which you wear under tight dresses, packs of seam free thongs, bras, kids padded jackets for £1, kids jim jams, Nice mens padded wellie type snow boots £3 and lots of glass and metal nests of tables for a fiver....and lots of other stuff too!
Might be worth a look if you've got one near you....

24 x Cushelle are also on offer for £6.99 this week (norm £9.99) not quite as good as the Halloween Andrex, but by all account you won't lose a finger through Cushelle

Oh, and anyone who likes spicy things, the Inferno stonebaked pizza (in the frozen section) was recommended on here - OH agrees its good. £1.49 each, so not tooooo hard on the wallet.

Still not really been in a Mr T for glitches, wombled a few recepts from one last nigh but no time to shop :( I deff visit less now they don't take comp. coupons.

You don't need to be on Twitter to read tweets. I just google Jedward twitter when I need a giggle so you should be able to do that with Clive.

    Thanks QPR10

I thiink i am quite an addictive type person, and think this whole glitching and cheap/free shopping has become my latest addiction won't admit it to my family likes........ the thought of having to pay full price for things now makes me feel ill, infact if there is no glitches 1p items couponed stuff i can't bring myself to buy anything else! infact i will go home with nothing for the tea because i grudge it. i seem to be able to accept my hubby buying things much better if i don't look at receipt, its like i can turn a blind eye to that and forgive myself lol

I honestly think most of us must have addictive personalities!!
I know, I'm a bit like that when I discover something new.....I become a bit obsessed with it!!!
If I had to have an addiction though, I'd rather it was saving money, than gambling or drinking it away!
I'm like you on the paying full price for anything.....I hate it!
My friend who visited yesterday brought her slippers (!!)....very nice they were, but she'd paid £40 for them!!! Fit flots (sp?)
I bought some tonight that aren't that dissimilar to look at for £1 :rotfl::rotfl:
My husband says he will leave me if I don't stop shopping......... God I will miss that man.

That is ridiculous, the whole point of DTD is T's policy because THEY have overcharged you! Why should you feel guilty for pointing it out and queuing up and then expecting them to follow their policy for a refund of DTD? It does say "Customer Service" above their head after all!

This a possibly the dictionary definition of "a trouting", not pleasant.:(

That store's too far away for me otherwise I would offer to come on a mission there with you for DTD trolley dash...they have brought it on themselves!!
As I doubt many (any?) others on here will read the Tesco Annual Report And Financial Statements 2011, I thought I'd post a couple of extracts from the "Vision" page:

"Our Vision - to be the most highly valued"

"Our core purpose is to create value for customers to earn their lifetime loyalty. This objective sits right at the heart of our business as one part of our Values – 'No one tries harder for customers'."

"We know that if we look after our staff, they will look after our customers. Work can be a large part of our lives so our people deserve an employer who cares. That's why one of our Values is 'Treat people how we like to be treated'."

For those communicating on issues it may be worth quoting some of this sort of stuff, especially in email to HO.:)

    Still no HC?
Just got back from Mr T. I bought 4pts Creamfields whole milk. SEL 89p scanned £1. Couldn't be bothered queuing and trout battling at CS because I was gasping for a brew. But worth watching out for if you are going to queue and battle anyway.

Interesting! I've never seen it or got it for 89p and I buy at least 1 of these a day ... I'll keep my eyes peeled. Thanks.

BTW I meant to say earlier that Mc Dougalls Upper Crust Gastro Pies (2 x Chicken, Mushroom & Bacon) are half price @ £1.39 ... so with the 50p MOC ... 89p

Also, came across a couple of Tescos own travel bits ... genuine reductions:
    • Combination Lock 76p (b/c 2382)
    • 2 luggage labels 76p (sorry no b/c as I didn't buy)
    • weighing scales £2.03 (sorry no b/c as I didn't buy)
And finally I got a packet of 5 document wallets (size DL) for 50p ... I thought I'd get a bit more organised and use them as follows:

    1. Receipts to be Price Checked
    2. Receipts that have been Price Checked that have CC points
    3. Receipts that have been Price Checked that have JTD vouchers
    4. Receipts that have returns
    5. MOCs
How do you professionals keep everything in order? I'm drowning in paper work :rotfl:

I thought it offered up a safe coupon download, it normally gives you a 3 stage process, so you have to click through the stages, its a while since I did it but if my memory serves the graphics dont change much from one stage to the next so just ensure you have ok'd each stage.

I can't print coupons using the 3 stage process either cos I get an error message (something about beimg unable to create a directory when trying to download the software).

I can only print coupons if they are PDFs :(
