As I doubt many (any?) others on here will read the Tesco Annual Report And Financial Statements 2011, I thought I'd post a couple of extracts from the "Vision" page:

"Our Vision - to be the most highly valued"

"Our core purpose is to create value for customers to earn their lifetime loyalty. This objective sits right at the heart of our business as one part of our Values – 'No one tries harder for customers'."

"We know that if we look after our staff, they will look after our customers. Work can be a large part of our lives so our people deserve an employer who cares. That's why one of our Values is 'Treat people how we like to be treated'."

For those communicating on issues it may be worth quoting some of this sort of stuff, especially in email to HO.:)

I think any retailer these days are kidding themselves if they think they can depend on customer loyalty.
The majority of customers are a lot savvier these days and their loyalty will only last as long as the retailer offers them what they want at the cheapest price.
If Joe Bloggs around the corner is selling it cheaper, loyalty goes out the window.
It showed just how loyal Tesco's customers are when it stopped accepting competitors vouchers.......Their profits took a nosedive because their customers spent their money elsewhere!
My husband says he will leave me if I don't stop shopping......... God I will miss that man.

Do you get the message that asks if your having trouble printing them? If you click that they will normally post some out to you. I normally use internet explorer but I have heard people say they have problems with it & find google chrome better. Failing that it could be your security settings, but I'm really not so technically minded as to be able to help you unfortunately. I usually just pass the laptop to hubby to sort out!lol

I'm sure someone on here will be able to shed some light on it tho x

i think the main reasons for the loss of profits is their con on the huge price cuts when in reality the put them up. also the reduction of the clubcard points when transfered to deals.

it was Bic soleil i think, had them the same time as the honey shreddies, there was a £1 off coupon and they were on offer for £1.25 so only paid 25p and they are so not worth that!!!

If I remember rightly, the ones I used/tortured myself with were Bic Soleil.

Phew, thought I was going to have to start stalking the health & beauty section for DTDs!

As for drowning in paperwork, I got an expanding folder and some A5 plastic envelopes and some A4 plastic folders that have a plastic thingymabob that slides on & off the spine. My A5s are organised as follows:

    Receipts with warranties
Receipts with 1p items (I like keeping them for posterity)
    Receipts with DTDs (see above)
    Clubcard vouchers
Receipts that have been redeemed for Price Check
MOCs - this doesn't seem to go down too well with SAs but am I bovvered :p

    Others have non-Ts invoices.

Right, only a few things left to iron. Could I have a cold one ready please barmaid?

Yeah I've had some vouchers posted but would rather be able to print and use them straight away IYKWIM. I'll try (in the morning) using IE (using FireFox atm) and see if that does the trick. Thanks.

I'm off to bed now after having really confused myself trying to file T receipts
    into little wallets :(
