    Good afternoon all
Love the hamper did something similar but just as a bag of essentials shopping for MIL as she says she never gets any bargains - but then she doesn't even look at the whoopsies nor does she check any forums so........
My guess for the hamper is 28p
    Thanks xxx

I actually typed up a list of what was in the hamper and worked out the contents barring the OEP were around 80p. It's the wrapping paper and OEP that's throwing me.

My gift bags averaged out at £2 - £3 for the local kids but there were expensive things in them like DM and Cars pencil cases at 34p and 36 respectively!

Just got them out of the car, b/c 5051008156133
They're in a clear plastic box with a piece of cardboard covering the top, back and bottom. Nice countrytside photo on the back.

:T Got a pair of the binoculars in my local at 89p (SEL £9.99). There were only two so took one and found a new home for the other pair;) Local posters who know where I am can PM me for the location (if you are quick) as the SA at Pharmacy seemed amazed when they saw the scan price and wanted to know where I'd found them. Was a bit vague of course but seeing as they are normally so helpful and friendly I felt a bit guilty:o Am I wrong to do this?

Whilst there I also noticed some Tesco brand sleeve ironing boards with a discontinued* SEL of £1.63ish. Seemed a good price and OH had mentioned looking at them a while ago at about £5-£6 and debating whether it was value at that price. Took a chance and they went through at 14p:eek: b/c ends 1056 for anyone interested. Blue cover and quite small. Could even be used as a childs toy as a minature ironing board? (need to take care however as fingers could get trapped as it's not really a toy). When I left there were two on the display for lurkers and two with new homes for local posters who want to PM for location. HTH:)

Despite it being Friday 13th, I'm having a really good day so far.
Parking fine revoked and my son has just texted to say that he has passed a maths exam which counts towards his GCSE!
He really struggles with maths, so for him to manage a "C" grade is a real achievement...bless him!!
My husband says he will leave me if I don't stop shopping......... God I will miss that man.

    finest meal deal
Just had my price check through from a shop yesterday and the wine - Tesco Finest Howcroft Cabernet Sauvignon bought as part of the meal deal has compared with one at Asda. £8.99 in Mr T and £6.48 in Mr A making the meal deal just £7.49. Deal due to end on 17/1/2012.

Well, I thought I'd post a pic of what I made my friend for Christmas(yes, it seems like it was ages ago). Hope you all like it as much as I, and he did....hehe
