Missing HC too, he and everyone else made me feel so welcome. Made me laugh quite a bit too.

Queen glad ur dad's ok, I know how scary it was for you.

Have had quite a bad day too, went to GP for my follow up appointment re bloods.
There a 2 things that measure inflamation and both these levels are up, wee test says there's no infection but I do have bad pain when the lower part of my stomach is pressed. If left alone I don't notice much apart from a dull ache.
The problem my GP's having is that at the levels they're at I should be doubled over in agony and not look as good as I do :D but when they were high (more than 4 times they should have been) in Nov 2010 I had only started to be in really bad pain 3 to 4 days before the bloods were done and was admited to hospital the next day because labs had phoned GP as emergency.
Waiting on call from GP to let me know whether I've to go on more antibiotics and/or wait for out patients appointment or go straight to A&E.
Just what I need with DS birthday on Sunday and a nice little day just by ourselves on Sat.

I hope things work out so you can spent the w/e with your son, timing couldn't be worse could it?! Hope you get better soon as well obviously xx

Ariel tabs 33 pk scanning at £2.49 should be £9.69
    Just spotted on HUKD
    http://www.hotukdeals.com/deals/ariel-double-action-excel-tabs-33-pack-tesco-instore-2-49-should-9-69-1117158

Don't all rush out, this is very store specific. They remerchandised the 36 packs (and lots of other tabs ang gels recently) and I've been regularly scanning these all over the place with no joy. Worth checking if you're in a store though.

my guess 31p but that depends on the price of the bottle of baileys. dont remember that glitch :o

forgot to add the wrapping paper, add 5p to the total 36p for me.

Wasn't Baileys one of the first free items, (or for pennies) that everone got at the start of DTD last year?

    Hi, everyone.
I too suffered from tennis elbow and had loads of injections, which at first worked but eventually made no difference,so I had the op.
Absolutely brilliant afterwards, no problems at all, so if you are given the chance of having it done, go for it!! :)

I've only had tennis elbow once but it was agony, worse than childbirth. I had it when DS1 was coming up on a year old but still had to do feeds & nappy changes. I tried painkillers, supports, self medicating with alcohol but nothing worked. Eventually I was referred for a cortisone injection and remember joking with the nurses that maybe I should get a pregnancy test done while I was there. Turns out I was actually preggers but didn't know.

Anyway, I spent the rest of the day in the worst agony ever. Turns out I had something called cortisone flare which basically meant I spent the day in constant tears, unable to move my arm and in more pain than the tennis elbow was causing. Thankfully it was less than 24 hours and the benefits of the injection outweighed the side effects but no-one had warned me I could react and feel like I was dying.

So what to do today then folks? I'm thinking another Boots trip could be in order.

Just realised that the Baileys is the miniature that was free if you signed up to the Baileys site on Facebook.:)

    Anyhow my guess is 10p.

The profit made on the OEP would pay towards some of the 1p items.:T

Morning everyone and HC my little:A;);)
Bright but fresh and icy here, Loads of work to do but obviously if a glitch comes up I shall prioritise my workload:rotfl::rotfl:Thanks for the comments about tennis elbow, I always feel like a bit of a fraud because you can't actually see whats wrong, but it's horrible:(After they taped it up yesterday I cannot believe the difference and I actually overslept this morning:eek::eek:It was because it was the first nights full unbroken sleep I've had for months. Always wake up in the night because it hurts:( We're a bunch of old crocks on here sometimes are'nt we?:rotfl::rotfl:
I'm a stonemason and get get tennis elbow all the time, had physio twice but it just comes back .

I bought a brace similar to this
    http://www.physioroom.com/product/Donjoy_ROM_Elbow_Deluxe/2033/38239.html

cost me £20 off ebay, and was a godsend. I can actually work with it on because it restricts the movement in the elbow but you can still move your arm.
    :(
